Dining Hall Fight

"Max and Raven walked into the dining hall after taking some rest. The hall was crowded, there were only a few empty tables. All the outer court students including freshmen and higher graders only had classes during the morning.

As both of them walked to the cook, he recognized Max instantly. He immediately panicked like he saw a bad omen. But as a cook he could only bite the bullet and ask Max what he wanted to eat.

"Student, do you want to have your usual lunch?" to which Max nodded slightly and paid the copper coins.

Raven looked at this scene weirdly. He did not why the chef seemed to be afraid of Max. Then he saw him taking a big bowl filled with dozens of eggs and a few stacks of breads. If he did not know that Max did not know anyone in the class except him, he would have thought he was buying the meal for his friends. He finally knew why the chef was afraid of Max. Even though the food in the canteen was not provided for free, the cost of the food is subsidized so that everyone can afford it.

Every time the cook picked an egg and put it in Max's bowl, he looked like his wife was snatched way. The waiter had to cook extra food ever since Max came, he emptied food that can be eaten by at least ten students. So, Max buying a huge amount of food daily at the subsidized price is not only loss for them but also makes the food short for others.

When Max asked the cook to stop serving, he breathed a sigh of relief and hurried back to serve another student who came to counter as if escaping a disaster.

Raven couldn't help laughing at the moment.

"Pfft..hahaha, brother I did not know you were a glutton."

Max rolled his eyes and sat at an empty table along with Raven and started eating. He also did not want to eat so much, but his body art required a huge amount of nutrients daily. Those eggs and vegetables can be considered highly nutritious for ordinary people but for Star Knights especially Max who practices Titan body art they are considered pitiful. So he had to compromise for quantity of food when there is no required quality nutritious food like high ranked Star beast meat which he ate during the last five years.

Max started eating the food along with Raven sitting opposite him with the food in his plate extremely contrast to Max. Max was eating his food peacefully when suddenly a shadow crashed into the table on which he was eating. Max kicked back his chair and escaped but the impact caused the food and sauces to spill all over his shirt. Raven also escaped it but his condition was better as the figure crashed to the opposite side of table where Max was.

They both saw that it was a girl with short silver hair and light blue eyes. Her face was covered in with a bruise and her dress was also tainted with food all over. She got up and looked timidly at Max.

"Sorry, I am Sorry."

She bowed twice. Max did not respond to her and turned to look at the direction from where she crashed here. He saw a three people, among them there ware two familiar face. He recognized Dukas but he did not know the name of the green haired boy. But he knew both of them were his six classmates. Along with them there was a tall bald guy with a huge body who looked like a bully.

"Get out of here!"

Seeing that it was Max, Dukas had a bad look on his face and warned him and without waiting he moved towards the grey haired girl and tried to slap on her face as she dodged to the side clumsily.

"How dare you fight back!"

Just as Dukas was about to punch her Raven blocked her and punched Dukas back and looked at Dukas angrily.

"What skill is it to bully a girl?"

Dukas's face was flushed with anger seeing Raven meddle in his business. He activated his star power and unleashed a star skill. A phantom of wolf formed behind him. It was a wolf with red fur. It had sharp claws while its whole body was covered in orange fames. Facial hair that resembled a wolf grew on Dukas as his body became somewhat hunched and sharp wolf like claws extended from his hands.

"Low tier-Purple grade Star Skill- Blazing Fireball."

Two fireballs flew from the wolf's mouth and flew towards Raven. Raven also activated his natal spirit as a phantom of a slender golden bird formed being him. It looked like a combination of a swift and an eagle. Two wings exactly same as the phantom grew from the back of Raven and his hands resembled the claws of an eagle.

Raven flew into the hair and dodged the two fireballs and also started launching his star skill.

"High tier-Yellow grade Star Skill- Wind blades."

He slashed three wind blades from his wings from the air. The three blades flew towards Dukas leaving him no room to dodge all of them. He dodged the first two blades and could only defend the third blade with his hands crossed. As the dust on the ground settled Dukas had a blade mark across his right hand which was bleeding. But he rushed towards Raven activating his star skill.

As they were fighting, the green hair man silently activated his star rune to unleash a star skill. He wanted to beat Max down before helping Dukas, so that no one can interfere. But just as he was about to rush towards Max he saw him move his hands very fast. Before he could react, two streamers rushed towards him. Because he was using his star power to unleash star skills, he had no time to dodge them. When they came close to him, he saw that it was two needles. The two needled flew towards his two legs. Suddenly he felt numbness in his legs as he knelt down on the ground.

He also coughed a mouthful of blood due to the backlash of the star skill. Seeing his two companions being beaten, the bald guy directly activated his natal spirit and rushed towards Max.

His already sturdy body expanded once again, especially the muscles of his arms that almost doubled in size. His exposed skin grew black fur even on his bald head. He threw his fist at Max who firmly grasped his wrist. The bald guy was astonished. He was a senior student in the outer court, not a freshmen and his natal spirit was a black ape which was known for its power. But he as resisted by a freshman without even using star power.

His fists were tightly grasped by Max. The bald guy could not even move his hand. He looked at Max whose face was already cold and shouted.

"Let go."

But he only heard a few crackling sounds as felt extreme pain. His hands were being crushed. As Max released his fist he checked it only to see they were highly swollen and the colour of the skin changed to black.

"Aaargh.."

He shouted in pain.
