Chapter 136: Time, Monsters, and Abyss

"If you don't have the lightning bolt, then who has it?" Percy soon shook his head, asking the question everyone now was thinking, his words had everyone on alert. "Well, a Demigod certainly stole it, that's for sure." Hades said before turning to both his children, saying: "Zeus thinks that Poseidon's son stole it,but he also suspects you two, i would like you two to stay at the UNderworld for a while... Until this all is over at least." Persephone nodded, he husband was right, she turned to look at her son and noticed the sigh of realization and then relaxation as he remembered that yes, both Nico and BIanca were at Olympus when the Lightning Bolt was stolen, as well as Luke, Thalia, and Annabeth. Eny didn't want to go to Olympus because, according to his words: "That place stinks worse than the sewers." So he stood behind so Eny doesn't get random ideas, like wanting to know the melting point of a dragon and then burn it alive until it dies...

He tried it once with a Harpy.

When they were kids...

Anyway, with Pruno to get Enychta on check- as much as it was worth it, since he would also come up with stupid ideas himself, often involving sex or something highly sexual- the rest of the family went to Olympus safely, which as much as it was worth it, was a city full of gold and white, almost blinding those who see it. they visited some places, such as the throne room where the Gods meet to discuss shit, they got to go to the woods surrounding Olympus, and even saw Apollo there- the drama queen that he was wnated attention from a bunch of children- who gave each of them a bunch of Ambrosia to eat.

"Well, i think that would be a great idea." Luke supported the idea of having NIco and BIanca here on the underworld, where their parents were, both of them who were powerful Gods in their own domains that could protect them from Zeus and other Gods. "Wait, what?" Nico asked in surprise, he knew it was safer here on the Underworld, but everything's so dead here! Sure, there's Persephone's Garden full of fluorescent plants that glowed from blue, purple, orange, to white. "I agree." Eny's words were like the hammer of a judge, sentencing them to eternal suffering and pain within the cursed lands of the damned- okay, dramatic much? "I know you're excited about your playdate with the Solangelo boy, but this is important Nico, i don't want you two right in the middle of a potential war amongst the Gods." HIs purple eyes glowed in a golden color, Percy instinctively backed away as a migraine started on his head once again, he didn't know why he felt such great pain from just trying to remember something.

"Eny, I-" Nico blushed, trying to explain that he understood, just was a little bit sad about having his date destroyed because of fucking Zeus! "There's something i can do though." That shut him even before he could start monologuing, making eye-contact with the golden-eyed man in front of him, Nico raised an eyebrow in curiosity as Eny smiled, no, smirked, as his nails turned into dark claws as he menacingly said: "I can bring him to the Underworld too."

Percy shivered, Groover was awfully quiet this whole time, but Percy turned to see if he was as creeped out by this as he was, he saw that Groover was, in fact, just staring at Persephone with heart eyes. 'oh no.' Thinking that, Percy quickly slapped his head, making his goat best friend to flinch and blush hard, his whole face turning red, he hid his face with both hands as Nico snorted before chuckling. "Yeah, sure, you can bring him to the UNderworld so we can have a date omong the dead? Nah, I'm fine thanks." Eny just huffed before looking away with a small smirk on the corner of his lips, ready to scare the Solangelo boy to never break Nico's little heart. "But yeah." Pruno finally spoke, looking at Bianca, who was just looking around with a frown on her face, he tried to smile at her to make her feel better: "It's a great idea, we would like you to stay here, it would be too dangerous out there, where Zeus can just hit you with a lightning bolt, and we can't let that happen now can we?"

"*sigh* No." Being locked down here would be boring as hell, but Bianca understood it. "I understand it. It's necessary." And it really was... Thalia and Annabeth just were talking to eah other about speculations, who could've stolen the lightning bolt, and how Nico and Bianca were main suspects because their father was Hades, the God who has a helmet that makes one invisible even to Gods. And Percy was a suspect because Zeus hates Poseidon and Poseidon hates Zeus...

Percy still was trying to remember why, just why, why he was thinking of Golden Chains.

Oh, that was why.

Looking at the problem in front of him now, he couldn't help but curse internally.

He, alongside Annabeth, Thalia, Nico, Bianca, Pruno, and Luke- who were both trashing, trying to break free- were captured by the same golden chains he remembers. Groover? Well, Groover is on the floor, looking up at them, Hades is fighting against a man with a helmet on his head, the only thing Percy could percieve was his glowing red eyes, the man's body? He could only see this formless darkness for a moment before it materialized into a the man's body, but he couldn't focus on him now- Groover, he had golden eyes, just like that Minotaur who took his mom. Enychta was fighting against someone else, a monster made of stone and magma, the creature was strong, it would hit him as he tried to approach them who were wrapped around the golden chains.

Enychta knew what he needed to do, a massive IRRS (Inwardly Rapid Retraction of Space) where he needs to bend space around them- but he would wast so much magic on that, and there's no way he could possibly do that. Irritated with this giant monsters, he transformed into his draconic form before making himself grow to a gargantuan size, he roared in a blind moment of rage as his jaws broke the stone aof the monster's body, he heard it scream in pain, he tried to bite it again, but this time it was bad- the monster suddenly turned into a monster of ice and wind, a snow storm, his teeth could not bite it- but he could burn it! He opened his draconic maw to blow his fire, but the ice and snow entered his body, making him freeze. That moment, his entire body turned into a ice statue and he died.

But a second later, his body shattered the ice as he came back from tartarus- the man fighting Hades (Where is Persephone?) suddenly looked at him with a curious glance, but Enychta couldn't care less. No, he needed to save them- the moment he died, he knew who they were, he knew now.

Kronos, Titan God of Time, who has escaped his prison and now searches for a strong body to be his host.

Gaia, Primordial Goddess of Nature, Mother of Monsters, and a bitch.

And Tartarus, the Abyss himself.

The moment he died and returned from Tartarus, he could feel it, the god of tartarus looking at him, looking at his soul, and in turn, he looked back. And he read the God's soul, somehow he was able to read the God's soul (Maybe it is something Demons can do? He is, after all, a Prince of Hell) and obtained information about three names, Gaia, Kronos, and Enis The Titan God of Time, who is free and now needs a powerul body to reside in, Gaia, who has been awaken too early and is very weak, and the one who did both things.

The child of Erebus, Primordial God of Darkness, Enis.

There was one thing Enychta could do, and if he did it, he would probably be too weak to fight back against the gods, but his family would be safe and sound. [Protection of Eros], the ability he could only use once perr day, where it would consume all his magic and stamina to bend reality to achieve his wish, to do something in the name of his love.

A wish... He wants them to be safe, he wants them to be far away from here.

He suddenly felt weak, a pink-ish glow emanated from his body, and soon enough, everyone was gone, everyone but him, even he didn't have enough magical energy to teleport Gods away. He fell to the ground, his body too tired to fight, his mind too tired to think, all he wanted was to sleep for days. But he could be sure they were all fine, they were all safe, far away from here.

He didn't care if, in the end, he dies- as long as they are fine, he is fine as well.

"No! Don't kill him... I have a use for him." The twisted voice of the satyr spoke, with Gaia's help, Chronos can now possess any and every monster for a limited amount of time- including his own son, Chiron the Centaur. "I need a host... And he's the only one left."

"His spirit is too strong for you, my son." Gaia spoke in a very sarcastic tone, she didn't like Kronos at all.

"You can always break him." Tartarus added from the sideline, annoyed that Hades and Persephone- the Goddess that he captured within his domain!- vanished as well. "Whatever he did, was strong, strong enough to defy me."

The same rusted cube floated, this time though, the chains that kept it locked and kept the insides- well, inside of the cube, were cracking, they were almost breaking away.

They were so fragile, that a sneeze could make them turn into dust.

Welp. Main antagonist revealed, Enychta now will go through some psychological trauma, be separated from his beloveds for some time too.

But don't worry. He'll be fine, he's the protagonist.
