A group of Spec Ops operators are saved from the jaws of death by the intervention of the Supreme Law of Time. After waking from a coma, the team's leader finds himself bound to an alien symbiote. And thanks to the symbiote, the team is thrust into the hidden world of Will awakeners; individuals who use their Will to harness superhuman abilities. As if that wasn't bad enough, the team accidentally uncover a conspiracy by a powerful shadow organisation which then puts them in the central position in the fight against the organisation and their nefarious plans for the world. Thus, begins the journey of the Soldiers chosen by Time!

CH824: The Shadows Appear
The uneven fighting prowess of the units forming the Delta Company created a situation where the Company's Titan Guard contingent faced stiffer opposition from the hostiles since their combat effectiveness stood out from the Company's other units.
With the contingent pinned down, and the enemy carrying out a likely fatal flanking manoeuvre, its most senior Platoon leader unilaterally decided to risk his life to take out the flanking group.
Relying on his Titan Shield and barely proficient evasion techniques, the Platoon leader dashed head first into the no-man zone between his unit and the hostiles.
His evasion technique was good, but that wasn't enough to keep him safe from what was effectively a rain of bullets. It was mostly his Titan Shield which kept him alive for so long till he reached well into the no-man zone.
