Aaron looked around him, feeling that something was off. He wasn't sure whether it was just his new human body or something else, but he just didn't feel right. He looked down towards his stomach. "Oh. I forgot that humans had to eat." Aaron admitted while looking at the palm of his hand. Aaron then decided to just wish a red apple into existence. Surprisingly enough, apples didn't exist on this planet, so Monument didn't know what Aaron had just created.
"Aaron, what is that you are holding?" Monument asked curiously, drawing a strange look from Aaron. "Have you ever seen an apple?" Aaron asked, lifting an eyebrow at Monument. "No, I have not," Monument responded while looking at the apple with great interest.
"Let me explain apples to you then." Aaron proposed, drawing Monument's curiosity. "So, an apple is a fruit grown from an apple tree. There are many types of apples, but the most common types are red, green, crab, and cooking apples. Red and green are edible raw, but they have different tastes and textures. Crab apples are really sour and aren't the best for eating. Finally, cooking apples are the best cooking in a dish such as an apple pie or an apple tart." Aaron explained, piquing Monument's interest in an 'Apple Tart'.
"Aaron, what is this 'Apple Tart' that you speak of? It sounds like it is a pastry dish." Monument responded, causing Aaron to laugh. "You're right! You got what a tart was before I told you! Great job!" Aaron exclaimed, happy to see that Monument was learning. It meant that eventually, he wouldn't have to explain everything to him. It was nice knowing that he actually paid attention.
"Wait, so I was right? Wow! I just imagined that it would be a pastry dish, and here we are!" Monument replied, finding this somewhat funny. "I honestly didn't expect myself to be right!" Monument admitted, watching as Aaron ate the red apple. He was decently confused as to why Aaron bit into the side of the apple instead of slicing it open. He was confused even further when Aaron didn't eat the middle part.
"Aaron, would you mind telling me why you aren't going to eat the middle? Surely the centre must be the healthiest part, right?" Monument asked, interested in Aaron actions. "Well, in some cases, you'd be right in that the centre is the healthiest, but not with the apple," Aaron stated, picking the seeds out. He threw them out onto the ground one at a time, in separate locations, just so that they could grow. "With an apple, you throw the seeds out onto the ground sot that more apple trees can grow. Each apple tree can create many apples. I'm not sure if they'll grow here, but we'll just have to wait and see."
"Wait for a second, so those tiny black seeds can create plants which produce even more of those apples, which in turn have more seeds?" Monument pondered, trying to understand what was going on. "That's correct! Now you understand how apples work!" Aaron pointed out as he threw the apple core over his back so that it would decay away. Apples were bio-degradable after all.
Suddenly, however, Aaron felt a strange feeling go down his spine. He wasn't hungry or thirsty, and he had enough magic power to last him an infinite lifetime, so what was this feeling for?
"Something is off...I can feel it." Aaron whispered, Monument failing to notice. "Although, would be the cause? Am I being watched? Has someone died? Did someone get kicked in the crotch too hard?" Aaron asked himself, to which he failed to answer his own question.
[I could help if you want.] Memica piped up, taking interest in this strange feeling Aaron was getting. Aaron was almost stunned at Memica's perceptiveness, but he remembered that she knew basically anything he needed to know, so he was glad. 'Yes, Memica, I really need the advice. Please, share any information you have.' Aaron responded.
[So, from what I can tell, one thing has gone strange. Apparently, Alec is unconscious, either from falling asleep or from getting injured or kidnapped. That's all I can figure out, as not even I know anything. It's like the people who are doing it know what spells to use to counter detection.] Memica admitted, drawing curiosity from Aaron. 'Surely you could just break down the mental barrier, right?' Aaron questioned Memica.
[Well, I COULD, but I want to respect the sheer effort that went into stopping detection magic. They have seven spells stacked on top of each other, so I'm just impressed at what they've done.]
'Well, that's unfortunate, but I do respect the respect you give to people who actually try. Although, they must have gotten some really good monster spells if you're impressed with them.' Aaron replied, smiling inwardly. It was nice to remind himself that the system was now Memica. Although it would have been useful to have all the information needed, he still respected Memica's personal preferences, even if they go against his own opinions. He still couldn't shake the feeling that someone was staring at him, though.
Aaron decided to do a quick test to see if anyone was looking at him. He shot an infrared light across the universe, known and unknown, spinning that beam around, unknowingly hitting every single being in the universe, and only two results came up.
{Monument}
{Unknown}
"Who the hell is unknown?" Aaron asked under his breath.
A strange presence made of divine light watched over Aaron and his actions, almost like a guiding parent. It was curious how he would deal with the situations he would be thrown into. It didn't know who had given his newfound powers, but it could provide a guess for who could have been involved. It had to watch over all of the main gods, such as Shadow, Algenon, and those lazy gods in the council.
Being ##### ## ##### had it's perks, but not even it could escape the beam of Aaron's detection. It was a good thing that it put up a mental barricade to only call itself 'Unknown'. It didn't want Aaron to find out what it was too quick.
