I sit on Alduin's neck while Melisandre hugs me tightly. We are currently flying above the sky to the north. I decide not to get other people's attention and ask Aluduin to fly above the cloud. I coat our bodies in magic to let us breathe in this altitude.
It is rather taxing as I need to feed my mana into this spell continuously so we do not die. I'm lucky that Dragon is fine at this altitude.
It takes Alduin a couple of hours to take us there. Dragon is fast, but the distance is still massive, and most of it is to go through the north. Half of Westeros is the North, and that is not combined with the Land Beyond the Wall.
"Alduin, stop."
I command my familiar when I feel a massive amount of Necrotic Mana underneath us.
"Get us lower."
As we get lower and get out of the cloud, I widen my eyes and quickly pour a lot of mana as ten thousand spears made of mana appear around us.
A thick mana shield appears around us and blocks all the spears coming at us.
"Alduin! Get us out of here!"
With a roar, Alduin releases a massive fireball out of his mouth and starts to fly away from the battlefield. We are not ready to fight them. I look down and notice a massive army of undead marching through the thick snow.
In the middle of the army is a two-meter-tall undead wearing a crown. He is holding a staff with a blue jewel on top of the staff the size of my fist.
Even from here, I know that staff is dangerous as it releases a massive stream of Necrotic Mana.
"The Night King"
"The Night's King? I think I have heard of him before. He is the Lord Commander of the Wall, right?"
Melisandre shakes her head and says.
"No. This is the First and the Last Night King, for no one deserves that title other than him. He is the bringer of snow, ice, and death. He is the Lord of the Undying Army. He is the Lord Sorcerer of the past. He is the failed weapon—the first who broke the chain of slavery and now seeking vengeance. He will not stop until the world is covered in ice and snow. He is the Undying King, the Night King."
Damn. What kind of monster is that? Also, a failed weapon? Slavery? That means the Night King is a former slave because someone stupid enough to make him like that. Now, he seeks vengeance, not on the people who make him like that. He wants vengeance against humanity.
I read a lot of books about this kind of thing. Because of his new appearance, he seeks vengeance and justice on all humanity to make all humans look like him.
"Are you sure we can defeat him using what we have?"
"Aye. Lord R'hllor approves of our preparation. He knows that we have a chance to defeat him and his army."
"A chance? One hundred percent chance, I hope?"
"No. Even he knows that the future is uncertain. He can only show me the biggest chance of it happening. We can win, but I also see when we lose."
"What happened?"
"The world will be covered in snow and ice. The world will no longer be habitable. The sun will not shine on us as snow covers the sky. Life will be over, and all the gods will die. Gods of old, new, obstruct, or animal gods will die."
"If they can die, why didn't they help?"
"They already help humans to make sure the Others die, but human greed, jealousy, and lust get in the way. They forget their duty, and each time gods bless them, they lose some of their power as magic slowly disappears from this world."
"I see."
I release a sigh and pat Alduin on the head.
"Take us down, Alduin. We are far enough from them."
Alduin takes us down so I can look around. We are on top of a hill surrounded by snow. I can also see some weird rock formations. Unfortunately, this place has no trees, but we can get them from Lunaria or Stormfist.
It will take many of my mana, but this should be an excellent place to make a fort.
"However, how can I get that thing's attention?"
I say out loud while looking around for an answer.
"You don't need to, Azor Ahai."
"Huh?"
"The night king hates all living beings. Human, insect, bird, or fish, he hates them all. As long as they are living creatures, the Night King will kill them and add them to his undying army. He will come here when he notices living people in this place."
"I see."
At least one of my problems is out of the way. Now, the problem of how many men I should bring. I don't want too many of them to get involved, but when I see that number, I know I need more men and a bigger weapon.
"Where do you think we should make our last stand?"
I look at Melisandre and ask that question. I don't want to rely on prophecy and vision to help me in this mess, but I don't have many choices. We need a place to build a defense and time to build said defense. When I see that number, I know that I am underestimating them.
I can see Melisandre smiling at me and saying.
"Thank you for trusting me, Azor Ahai. As for your question, you shall find a perfect place in the place called the Fist of the First Men. There you shall find reinforcement and new allies. They shall be your help against the Others."
"Where is it?"
She smiles and takes out a scroll from her cleavage. She points her finger at the place and says.
"Here is the place. We are currently near the Frostfang. Go South East, and you shall see a hill near the river surrounded by woods and snow. That shall be our last stand."
"Very well."
I asked Alduin to take us there, and I could see the hill Melisandre told me about.
We land on the hill, and I start to look around. I can see this place will be a perfect place for the plan.
It did not have the weird rock formation to help us defend against the enemy but it had a lot of wood to build the fort.
"This is perfect. Thank you."
"It is my pleasure, Azor Ahai. However, can I ask one question?"
"Ask away. Can I borrow your majestic dragon to take me south?"
"What do you want to do in the south? Do you want to ask the Stark for help?"
"No. I want to ask the people of the First Men. They who see the nightmare will agree to fight them. They will be people who fight bravely in the front to make sure that others will not kill their children. However, to make them agree, can I ask one boon from you, Azor Ahai?
"What is it?"
"Can you agree to have a trade agreement with them? Sell them food cheaply, and they will be your greatest ally for centuries."
"Sure. That is easy enough."
"Thank you."
I nod and look at Alduin. I ask him if he wants to take her, and when I see him nod, I help Melisandre get on top of him. I can see them fly away, and I take a deep breath. This place is filled with mana, but I need to be careful with the Necrotic Mana in the air.
I release my breath and start purifying the mana in the air. I have a job to do, and it requires a lot of mana.

|3rd POV|
People start to scream when they see a massive dragon flying above their tiny village. The men take whatever weapon they can find and order the women and children to get inside the cave of their home.
Thane, the village leader, leads his men to the giant dragon and holds his spear tightly.
He gets even tenser when the dragon lands near them and can see a beautiful woman getting off the dragon. The beautiful woman is Melisandre, and as she gets off of Alduin, she smiles at the group of people in front of her.
"Greetings, Thane Magnar. My name is Melisandre, and I offer you your salvation."
