She is an Angel or a Demon

Song Ji Woo felt weird and different, she was standing in the middle of Gangnam shopping street, a famous centre in Seoul. She felt weird when she found herself on the same road and same place where she died and different because now she is not a living person, she feels like a ghost. Is she really a ghost now? She wondered. Whatever happened was like a dream so she thought if it is all true or she is still dreaming.

Just then she saw a vehicle approaching her and because of her reflexes she was about to dodge it and tried to run away to save herself but the vehicle was fast and she couldn't save herself and was expecting to have another accident, just then the vehicle passed through her as if she is made up of thin air.

'What the hell' she thought.

Then she realised that whatever happened was all true and decided to accept the truth of her life, uhmm afterlife.

'What's the time and what day it is today. I have to record all the days' Song Ji Woo thought.

As soon as she thought this, a display screen like object was displayed in front of her and there were all the details she needed. It was just like an electronic tablet with notes and records, a helpline option if she wants to know something, instructions on basic afterlife style.

The date was April 1st and time 00:10 am

'What the hell, I died in November and it is April, it has already been around 6 months since I died. Wow, I was waiting for six months in that stupid waiting room. And therefore, my deadline is till Jun 29 as I have only 90 days. Ok let me start this mission and find this person and have a blissful afterlife' she thought.

Six Months Back

Song Ji Woo woke up and found herself waiting in an office-like room, there were other people too sitting around her, some were old, some were middle-aged and some were teenagers.

There was a big table and a comfortable chair to her left, like a set-up for a secretary and behind that table there was a wooden door.

She was confused where she was, the last she remembers was she being attacked by someone and she thought she almost died, so is she alive now? These were the thoughts in her mind.

'If I am really alive, shouldn't I be bleeding but I seem fine' she thought.

"Ma'am you are number 1784746523220193" a voice interrupted her thoughts

"Heh what, 178... something something, what are you saying?" Song Ji Woo asked the lady who gave her a tablet like device with the number 1784746523220193 displayed on it

"Ma'am you are 1784746523220193rd person to die and come here, please wait for your number to be called, then we will allot you hell or heaven based on the record of your actions on earth"

Song Ji Woo was surprised, she thought she was dreaming but this dream felt too real to be a dream. She saw the teenage guy sitting next to her and asked.

"Do you know what is happening here?"

"Yes, we are dead and now we will be sent to hell or heaven based on the deeds we did on earth"

"Seriously? Hell and Heaven exists?" Song Ji Woo asked.

Ji Woo was an atheist so she didn't believe in the existence of afterlife, god, hell or heaven so she was surprised with this newly found information. So, she decided to wait for her turn to understand what is happening.

"Number 1784746523220190, your turn" the person who handed Ji Woo the tablet device called out and an old man stood up and went towards the wooden door led by the secretary like person.

When the door opened Ji Woo wanted to get a peek but she couldn't, it was all black and she couldn't see anything.

'Fine I am only after two more people I can wait' she thought and started observing the lady who gave her the tablet.

She looked like a 20 year old, very pretty and delicate. Her eyes were devoid of any emotion and she looked like a perfect secretary to a big conglomerate.

The old man who went inside did not come out and the secretary-like looking girl called out the next person, a middle-aged woman.

Unable to control her curiosity, Ji Woo asked "where is the old man who just went in?"

Annoyed with her nosy attitude, the girl replied "none of your business"

Song Ji Woo was angry but decided to keep quiet, although she does not follow rules and is not a person who will take attitude from others but since it is a new place, she decided to keep calm and figure out things first before fighting with others.

Now the secretary called the next number, an old woman. Ji Woo was happy that the process is happening fast and she will be the next person after this old woman.

But surprisingly the secretary called number 1784746523220194 instead of Ji Woo's number, she was skipped.

Annoyed Ji Woo stood up from her seat and shouted at the secretary, "hey it is my turn now, are you weak in maths?"

Secretary calmly replied "There is a technical problem in your case, so you will be sent last"

"What? what technical problem?" Ji Woo shouted in anger.

"You will find out once you will go in, if you wait you can go to hell or heaven but if you insist to go now you will definitely be sent to hell, so the choice is yours" the secretary replied back.

The secretary-like person was completely opposite to Ji Woo, she looked cold but scary.

Not wanting to go to hell, Ji Woo sat on her seat annoyed.

After 96356 people, finally it was Ji Woo's turn to enter, this place has no morning, no night, no food, no water so she didn't realise how much time passed.
