Unknown : Hope
The City is being devastated by a flying whale-like monster that shots death rays. There was a guy on the top of a distant building from the monster destroying one of the sectors located at border of the city, he looks hopelessly as the monster seemed impossible to destroy. As he stood there, he saw multiple people in the distance running atop the giant walls, keeping away other smaller threat monsters, towards the said monster. He lost hope already, therefore he was ready to embrace the sweet release by jumping off the cliff, so to speak.
The boy was stopped by another man telling him "You can go the easy way or you can go all out in a last attempt to see the next day, but people like you give up too early.", the boy felt mocked and insulted, in response he said "Who do you think you are?!".
The man uncaringly and slightly annoyed told the boy "I am your new boss starting today, your first mission is to jump off this building and survive the landing." and to his disbelief said "What?! Do you realize I don't have any kind of pow- *kicked off the rooftop*".
The boy after realizing he's falling, he began to regret his choice of suicide and the next thing he knew the crazy man was falling with him too, "Boy, you and people like you talk a lot about how powerless they are without even trying to begin with, the secret in life is to just do it." said the man in calm tone, but the boy in a state of panic yelled to the man in tears "Are you crazy?! I will die!! This is the end for me!!!"
"Listen here, now is the time to make a choice, you come with and I will put your true powers to use OR you make your last prayers here." said the man in a relaxed tone. He replied "What about us?!"
"Us? Maybe just you, this won't kill me, but make the right choice and you will live to see the next day." said the man
"I will go!! I will go!!!" yelled the boy with all his might and eyes closed and right as he made the choice, a loud thud with squishy sounds were heard.
