Lexus instantly felt guilty when Anna thought he was tired or feeling down which was why he was asking for a vacation.
But all he really wanted to was to be somewhere he could be alone with Anna where they could do everything they pleased without getting disturbed by their son or anyone else in the house.
He wanted Anna all to himself, even just for a whole day or two. Was it that bad to go on a trip without their child?
They had been going to parks with Nigel every weekend so they hadn't had a date for themselves for a while.
It made him miss her. Especially since Nigel knows to go to their room now if he doesn't find them beside him when he awakens. Their steamy times often got disturbed.
But if Anna was worried that he was exhausted, well, of course, he was. How could he not be after not getting enough time with her? And then he had to work at the company then go check their casinos and have meetings with their men.
