A Scooby Christmas

SCOOBY SHOW

Our story begins with a dark winter night, Mr. Stevens is a very famous scientist and he is regularly accompanied by his apprentice the young Basil. It's time to take a look at what's going on in their lab right now.

"This is it I think I finally found something" Steven yelled as his apprentice ran over to see what was going on here.

This year the winter was particularly strong, the sky had been cloudy for days and the sun was not showing, hidden by the clouds. However the children found their happiness despite everything considering the quantity of snow, they had made snowball battles and hundreds of snowmen.

"You mean you've found a way to grow flowers in the middle of the winter" Basil asked his master as he nodded.

"Give me a flower Basil, I have to test my invention" said Stevens while Basil brought him a pot filled with soil.

Stevens poured a few drops onto the pot but what followed was not expected. The plant began to grow quickly transforming into a kind of carnivorous plant.

"Oh my god Basil! Quickly cut the root" Stevens yelled as Basil took a shears to cut the plant at the root, killing it directly.

"We came out of it little" said Basil breathlessly

" As you say. Now go throw this potion in the old well in the village because nobody should see or touch this potion. She must be gone forever "said Stevens giving the bottle to Basil.

Basil nodded and went outside to go to the old well but unfortunately with the snow Basil slipped and fell to the ground. He got up quickly to check that he hadn't gotten a drop on him but luckily everything was intact. He laughed looking at the snowman next to him before tossing the potion down the well.

"Well, we were hot mister the snowman hahaha" laughed Basil, patting the snowman's head before returning to the laboratory.

What Basil didn't know was that the potion had had time to hit someone when they fell and just after Basil was gone the snowman smirked faintly. The snowman had come to life!

A SCOOBY CHRISTMAS

The alarm clock had barely ringed when Scooby saw Shaggy in front of him, opening his eyes.

"Hellooooooo Scooby!" Shaggy yelled which made Scooby jump in fear before falling back into Sammy's arms.

"... Hi Shaggy " said Scooby catching his breath.

"Do you know what day we are my dear friend?" Said Shaggy excitedly

"Is this yet another technique to make me understand that we have to go to the vet?" Asked the dog

"Hahaha but not Scooby. Today is December 24th!" Shaggy yelled showing her calendar to Scooby.

"And it's a Thursday" said the dog

"No! It's Christmas" said Shaggy crossing his arms

"What is Christmas?" Asked Scooby intrigued.

"Don't you know what this is ?!" Shaggy yelled. "But after all, Christmas is kind of the best party in the world. We get presents and we eat the famous Christmas turkey and we put the star on the tree. Dare to tell me that you haven't seen the tree in the house and in the city center "

"I thought you just went green" said Scooby

"Hahaha but no it was intended. You'll see I'll make your first Christmas a wonderful one... not like mine " Shaggy said with a sigh as he looked at a poster of a blue car. "Every year I ask to receive the famous Falcon Car but in the end I just get a horrible old itchy sweater"

Scooby, having a little pain, licked the face of Shaggy who quickly started smiling again.

"It doesn't matter, come on let's go outside and buy some hot chocolate and tonight we'll go to the big square where the whole village meets to celebrate Christmas until morning." Said Shaggy excitedly putting on his green anorak

" Until morning ?" Said Scooby as Shaggy put on his little red jacket for him to go out in the snow.

"In our town, tradition has it that we have a sleepless night to party all night until the early hours," Shaggy said as he took his sled and put Scooby on it and pulled him out.

"Wow I already love Christmas" said Scooby on the sleigh, observing the city under the snow from afar

His gaze lingered on a snowman who suddenly smiled with a scary look. Scooby panicked and jumped on Shaggy showing him the man who looked normal.

"Don't be afraid Scooby he's just a snowman, kids love to make one. I used to do a lot with my parents but now I'm 8, I'm grown up now. Anyway don't be afraid they are not alive these guys "said Shaggy putting his friend back on the sled.

But after that Scooby saw the snowman staring at him again, he shivered a little but figured it had to be because he was hungry that he was seeing this. Soon after arriving, Shaggy observed the decorations remembering why he loved this party so much. He stopped in front of the big tree in the center.

"Wow he's even bigger than I remembered" he said before seeing Fred, Daphne and Velma

"Hey Shaggy you also come to see the tree" said Fred while Daphne smiled at Shaggy and Velma, she blushed slightly which had the gift of making Shaggy blush too.

"Isn't Scooby with you?" Asked Daphne

Shaggy was about to say that Scooby was there when he saw the sleigh was empty.

"Oh no but he was right there 10 minutes ago. Scooby-Doo where are you? Shaggy screamed in panic

"I'm here" said Scooby walking towards Shaggy with a filled bag.

"Oooh you went to get food for tonight. Well done mate" said Shaggy giving him a hug.

"Am I the only one wondering how Scooby did manage in a store without anyone noticing?" Asked Daphne

"You know from what happened on Halloween and at the beach I think a talking dog has become almost normal for people in this town," said Fred, shrugging his shoulders.

"It all reminds me that I still have to buy a present for my parents" said Velma, looking towards a decoration store.

"Good idea Velma, I also need to buy something for my father" said Fred following her while Daphne followed Fred

"We are waiting for you outside in the alley" said Shaggy pulling his sled towards another quiet little place.

"Aaaaah there are plenty of monsters" said Scooby seeing all the snowmen including one with a carrot on the ground.

"Don't worry Scoob they're not mean I told you," Shaggy said, putting the carrot back on the face of the snowman who started to smile at him. "No worries sir, it's a pleasure"

Suddenly Shaggy stopped smiling realizing the situation, he observed again the man who began to advance towards him.

"The... the... snowman he's... alive!" Shaggy yelled jumping into Scooby's arms

"I think they all are," Scooby said as he saw all the men in the place walking towards them.

"I think now is the time to run," Shaggy said, jumping with Scooby on his sled down the street while all the snowmen followed them.

As they were picking up speed the sled collided with Fred, Velma and Daphne.

" Are you crazy ! Watch where you are going!" Said Fred

"Precisely we want to go far from them" said Shaggy pointing at the snowmen

"Jeepers" Daphne yelled as everyone started running out of town before they saw a strange building.

Once inside, Shaggy and Scooby put whatever furniture there was to block the door.

"I think we are safe here" said Daphne

"You are," a man said as he walked over to them causing Shaggy and Scooby to jump in fear. "Have no fear my name is Stevens and this is Basil. You're trying to escape the snowmen, aren't you? "

" You know?" Said Velma

"Obviously since I created them. I wanted to find a way to revive the plants in winter but mostly I created a potion worthy of Doctor Jekyll "said the man

"In short a potion to transform into a monster" said Basil seeing that Shaggy and Scooby did not understand a thing.

"And by wanting to throw it away, I believe my apprentice poured it on them and they found a way to spread this virus," Stevens says.

"Do you have a way to stop these monsters?" Said Fred

"Unfortunately, nothing is working and we have to come up with an idea because the night will start to fall and they will try to pick on people in the main square" said Stevens

"So we're going to need a plan to bring them together and lock them up and I think I have a plan" said Fred looking at Shaggy and Scooby.

"It's weird but strangely I don't feel this Scooby plan" said Shaggy

Later that evening, locals gathered around the square to celebrate Christmas. The countdown had just started.

"3, 2, 1, Merry Christmas" shouted the locals, all kissing each other a merry Christmas

That's when the snowmen decided to gather around them discreetly and just before attacking one of the snowman who received a snowball in the face. Turning around, the men saw Shaggy and Scooby with their sled.

"Nice Scooby shot and now my favorite part: the escape" said Shaggy starting to pull the sled at full speed as the snowmen continued to follow them.

The chase lasted several hours while Fred managed to dig a hole with the others deep enough to put all the snow monsters in it.

"Fred it's not to be mean but I tire" said Shaggy

"Everything is ready Shaggy attracts them near the museum" said Velma in her Walkie talkie

"Like it's like it's almost done," Shaggy said running with Scooby continuing to throw snowballs from the sled

Once arrived the trap worked perfectly and the snowmen fell into the hole and got stuck there.

"Mission accomplished now we must find a way to make them disappear" said Fred, clapping the hands of the others.

"Fred... I think you spoke too fast" Daphne said as all the snowmen shook before they bumped into another's body to melt the snow.

After a brief moment, a 7-meter-tall snowman came out of the hole.

"Like we're wrong. Sorry your Christmas is so bad Scooby "said Shaggy hugging Scooby.

"At least I would have spent it with you Shaggy," Scooby said as the gang hugged each other for a goodbye hug

Suddenly a drop of water fell on Scooby's head who saw a dim light.

"Shaggy look!" Said Scooby pointing at the light

" The sun ! It's the sun!" ylled Velma

The sun that hadn't come for a long time had apparently decided to come for Christmas morning. The snowman started to sweat seeing that he was starting to melt. He started running around before finally falling to his knees, transforming into a large puddle that hardened to ice.

"This is what I call a Christmas miracle," Shaggy said stroking Scooby's head.

"Shaggy, kids, here you are at last. We were looking for you "Said Shaggy 's parents who had just arrived.

"But what were you doing here?" Said Fred's father

"Well we saved Christmas" said Scooby

"Your dog... did he talk about Shaggy?" Said Shaggy's father

"Boh after all it's nothing compared to what we've seen in this town before," said Shaggy's mother.

"It's true," he replied. "Come on son, the locals have decided that you will be the one to put the star on the tree"

"Cool thanks daddy," Shaggy said as he ran into the plaza but decided to give Scooby the star by climbing the ladder with him. "This star is for you Scooby. Merry Christmas my friend "

Scooby licked her face and put the star on the tree before descending back down as everyone screamed with joy.

"Hey Shaggy when I left you alone earlier in fact I didn't just buy food," Scooby said giving Shaggy the bag.

"I guess no one is going to wonder where Scooby got the money" said Daphne laughing with Fred and Vera

As he opened it Shaggy saw the Falcon Car he had wanted for years. With tears in his eyes, Shaggy hugged Scooby

"Thanks a lot Scooby but you know I just realized what matters most to me" said Shaggy

" And what is it ?" Scooby asked as the town mayor played one last Christmas song.

"Well all I want for Christmas ... is you Scooby" Shaggy said hugging Scooby.

" Me ?" Said Scooby smiling.

"I don't want a lot for Christmas. There is just one thing I need and I don't care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree." Shaggy sang. "I don't need to hang my stocking there upon the fireplace. Santa Claus won't make me happy with a toy on Christmas Day. I just want you for my own more than you could ever know. Make my wish come true "

"I want for Christmas is you" sang Shaggy and Scooby together

"Merry Christmas Shaggy " said Scooby

"And I wish my best friend also called the most awesome Christmas..." said Shaggy

"Scooby-Dooby-Doo" Scooby yelled
