Chapter-7[World's Situation]

Note- This is my first time writing in First Person's POV, so there may be some problems, but I will improve with time.

[Kyle's POV]
Thinking about it clearly, what happened to me is quite surprising.....escaping death and also getting a method to become stronger, and with this, I should be able to give my family a life that I always dreamed of, and also become the strongest.
But, what happened to this world in the past is also surprising.....The world started to change 100 years ago, when the gates suddenly appeared all over the world, at first the government made bunkers and buildings around the gates to keep the general public away from it.....but in a year, the gates exploded and hundreds of thousands of monsters came out of all the gates....which reduced the world's population by 1/3, but the military was able to kill all of this monsters with a price that was way too much, for them to be able to sustain something like that, well, it is even a surprising thing that the government was able to kill the monsters at that time...
But it all changed, not even a year passed since the incident, people started to awaken skills, some awakened weaker, so some awakened stronger...if I remember correctly, it was when the first [Appraisel] skill came, that people started to know the ranks of the skills, from the lowest,

To the highest A+ rank, but is that the highest rank, no...Eve should know about that...well, I will ask about that later.....
After the skills awakened, many people started to explore the gates, and at the start, it killed many people but with enough time, people started to conquer the gates, and the rewards it provided them made them more greedy to explore and conquer, while also killing the monsters in the gates.
The things which a person could find in a gate varies from nothing to even a skill book, from the lowest to the highest level also many treasures from armors to the weapons...I have to say that it's only natural that people would want to conquer the gates, and the most important thing found in the gates are the mana crystals, whenever you killed a monster, it will drop a crystal, which varies from the rank of the monsters,

But even if the humans become strong enough to contend against the monsters, they only succeeded in killing two 'SS-Rank' monsters, or more like demons...the intelligent monsters that started appearing. Those monsters had more or less the same intelligence as humans, or maybe even more.....and the only reason humans were able to kill them was that they were running away injured, with another demon after them, and that demon had made them injured too much, so it was easier for humans to kill them, without paying the same price as when the monsters first appeared.
And the government can't even ignore all the gates...if the gates are not cleared regularly, then the monsters would come out of it, and it's not just one or two monsters, but all the monsters living in the gate. And the reward that the gates provide now is running the whole world...
To clear a gate, one needs to kill the boss monster, which spawns at a fixed interval of time and also lowers the amount of the monster. The Boss monster will drop some rewards upon its death, which could be anything.....and I think it was mentioned that it depends on the luck of a person, which reward he/she will get.
With the gates and the rewards it provided, several professions also started to be created, from Blacksmiths to the Alchemists, which provided the weapons and potions to the hunters, but their quality is lower than one could get in the gates.
Ha...I also have to think of getting a weapon, but the money required for that is going to be too much...I should start to clear the gates....but should I go alone, or should I join a guild..?
The Guild System, which was created after 50 years the gates appeared, the Guild provided the hunter it is affiliated with any type of help they could, in exchange, the hunter will clear the gates that the Guild own, or have permission to travel. The hunter will get a monthly income, along with weapons according to their rank.

'Hey, Eve?', Kyle called Eve mentally.

'You should be able to hide my level and skills from Appraisal..?'
[Yes, This is what had been done to you.]
Kyle paused, before asking again, 'I am not talking about sealing, but hiding them from others...'
[Yes, I could do that, Host.]
'I see, then hide my stats to be around Lv20, and hide two E-Rank skills, and my racial skills, and could anyone see the authorities and any other things related to Blank..?'
[No one could see them, Host, except some people who could sense it.]
Kyle nodded mentally, I should be able to raise my rank and start from entering the gates, and earn some money first, to purchase a new home, and weapon for myself and Emma, and then, purchase some skill books...and also some cores for Emma, it would help her become stronger quickly...
The cores, something only special monsters dropped, it directly increased a person's strength or the MP.....but if I could find a skill orb, then it would be for the best, they are best to upgrade the rank of a skill.....
But I also have to be careful of the Guilds...if I am not joining them, there are many guilds who had these bad rumors about them, it's best to be careful from them.
I really have many things to do...but first of all, I have to explain to Mother and Emma about what happened, but I think Mother could understand faster.....and I also have to find those guys....who tried to kill me before...
Looks like we are about to reach...hah, if there is something good that the monsters bought, then it's decreasing the size of the cities...the records already told that the cities used to be very big before, covering areas which weren't required...
Opening my eyes and seeing out of the window looking at the blue sky...and itching to meet Mother and Sister again....ohh..isn't that the poster of World's strongest hunter....the only one who passed Lv80.....well it's not surprising, as there are many gates which are left unexplored, many people did explore them but never return, and the government locked them, cause there was never a monster outbreak from them. It's not like there are many strong hunters in the world right now...there are many low rankers, but high rankers are in very low amounts because increasing your level when you reached a certain limit is as difficult as clearing a high-ranking gate.
And the world's strongest right now, the Breaker, it is hard to believe that she is one of the world's first hunters, with the skill-set, making her near-immortal....I always believe that as a joke, but hearing her stories made me believe that she is something else.... in a completely different league than others.
Now that I think about it, why is that girl staring at me for some time....and she looked somewhat familiar....wait, she is Emma's friend, the one who came a month ago...then that means she should have message Emma about me...
Should I call her..? wait...Eve?

Looks like I have to be careful....there is no need for me to call her, we are going to the same destination anyway...
The girl sitting beside me continued to stare at me, while I am looking out of the window, 'What happened to him, to change like this....and had he not recognized me...looks like only Emma could answer, and I am even feeling afraid to talk to him... ' sigh...' his eyes are way too much cold, and so is the aura around his body....', and thought
The driver looked at the back mirror with some fear, and saw the girl staring at me, 'Looks like only handsome guys are allowed to have girls.....maybe I should apologize to my wife....', and thought.
I am now able to sense if someone is looking at me more clearly, I could do it before but it wasn't this much good...maybe due to my high level, or the demonic lineage that I am able to feel it more clearly.
Soon, the car stopped, and I first stepped out of the car, and take a 50$ bill giving it to the driver,
"Keep the change."
The driver lowered his head and took the money with his trembling hands from me, and the girl also passed the money, and receiving that, the driver quickly left....looks like he becomes too much scared of me...
Shaking my head, at the fact that my body released no aura or anything, but just my presence and my cold voice scared the hell out of them...
Even the girl shudder when she heard my voice but quickly recovered, looks like she is used to this type of tone...
Ignoring the girl now, I made my way towards the entrance of the building, and the girl followed behind me.
