Mt. Kailash...
Mt. Kailash is where Lord Shiva resides.
The place is covered in pure snow, giving a feeling of purity. The trees have grown well, with green leaves in perfect condition, which is unexpected for such a cold place.
An extremely cold wind blows there, providing a sense of calm and freshness. When someone visits the place where Lord Shiva stays, impure thoughts vanish from the mind just by the sight of it.
At the top of Mt. Kailash, a person is calmly meditating while sitting on tiger fur. His body radiates a calm aura, like clear water.
He has long hair on top of his matted hair, which contains a crescent moon as an accessory. Residing on his neck is the king of Naga, Vasuki. His neck has a dark blue hue.
He has a third eye on his forehead, known as the "eye of wisdom" when he is calm or the "eye of destruction" when he is angry.
He wears a Rudraksha necklace and bracelet, representing spiritual power and protection.
Before him, his weapon Trishula stands still without any support, with the Damru tied to it. He is Lord Shiva, the god of destruction, also known as Mahadev.
The whole of Kailash reflects a happy atmosphere. On one side, his vehicle, along with other devotees who stay in Kailash, are preparing for their Pooja towards Mahadev.
When everyone is happy, Lord Shiva, who opened his eyes, looks somewhat sad for an unknown reason. He is deep in thought.
Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma arrived at Kailash with solemn expressions.
"Mahadev, is it going to happen?" Lord Brahma asked with a serious expression.
"Yes, for the sake of the future, it must happen," Mahadev said with a calm expression, but one can notice the sadness in his eyes.
"Mahadev, this time it is not an avatar like I took, but a reincarnation like my sister did." Vishnu expressed his concern for his deity.
Mahadev didn't say anything but looked into the distance, where a cave in which his wife, Parvathi, was performing Pooja before the Shiva linga.
"This is my duty; I should do it. I was worried about Parvathi." Mahadev said while looking in the direction of Goddess Parvathi.
"She will be the one to start this... she might cause a disaster if she later regrets what she did." Narayan expressed his concern for his beloved sister.
After some discussion, both Narayan and Brahma left Kailash.
Goddess Parvathi, who was meditating near the Shiva linga, had a vision of Mahadev suddenly disappearing out of thin air while they were chatting.
She opened her eyes immediately and panicked about the vision, running towards the place where Mahadev was meditating. When she saw that Mahadev was still present there, she sighed... in relief.
When Nandi and the others noticed Goddess Parvathi running with a panicked face, they became worried, thinking something bad had happened. They followed her in a hurry and looked at her, seeing Mahadev with a sign of relief on her face.
Near the cave where Goddess Parvathi was doing Pooja, two people were sitting on a large stone, discussing something and laughing.
One is Lord Ganesha, who has a charming aura around him, a chubby body with a big belly, and strong arms. He has an elephant face with a broken tusk. He is known for his wide wisdom.
While the other one is Lord Karthikeyan, who has an aura of a warrior with a strong-built body and a beautiful face. He carries a divine spear named Vel. He is the god of war.
While they were discussing, suddenly they noticed their mother running towards the place where their father was meditating. They followed her along with Nandi and others.
"Matha (mother), what happened?" Lord Ganesha came forward and asked while looking at the worried look on his mother Goddess Parvathi's face.
"Matha, is everything alright?" Karthikeya looked at his mother and his father, who was meditating with a calm face, with a confused look.
"I have a bad feeling, Putra. I feel something is going to happen to my lord." She looked at Mahadev with a worried look and thought about the vision she had during the Pooja.
"Matha, you don't have to worry about Pithashri (father). He is the god of gods, Mahadev."
"I think what Ganesh said is true, Matha. Nothing is going to happen," Ganesha reassured his mother that nothing would happen to his father while comforting her with his words. Karthikeya joined Ganesha in cheering up their mother in her bad mood.
After some time, she asked the others to leave and continue their respective tasks. She went towards Mahadev. Even though she was consoled by her two sons, she couldn't forget what she saw in the vision.
So, she wanted to ask her husband, Mahadev, about the vision she had.
"Swami (husband)..."
When Mahadev heard his wife calling, he opened his eyes and looked at his wife, who had a worried face. Suddenly, his eyes flashed with sadness as he thought about how his wife would take things about his departure.
Goddess Parvathi noticed the sadness in her husband's eyes and started to have bad premonitions. When she was about to ask about it...
"Remember, Parvathi, everybody must fulfill this time. It's mine. You should not blame yourself for what is about to happen."
Mahadev, with his cryptic words, tried to slowly make her understand instead of revealing everything and making her angry.
"____"
When she heard Mahadev's response, she became quiet. Suddenly, the place was filled with pin-drop silence. She didn't want to hear the next sentence about what her husband wanted to say.
"You need to be str..."
"Stop... stop, Swami."
Before Mahadev could say anything further, Goddess Parvathi, standing in front of him, with a panicking voice, didn't want to listen to his next words. She felt that if she listened, she might lose something very important.
"You need to listen, Priye. I need to go to fulfill my duty."
Mahadev turned to his wife and placed his hand on her shoulder to comfort her and explain to her.
"Why, Swami? Why do you need to be separated from me?"
She calmed down a little and asked her husband for an answer, narrowing her eyes, without taking her sight off him.
"I don't know, Priye. If Neyathi is doing this, there must be a big reason for it."
Mahadev answered calmly to Parvathi, which shocked her because her husband, Mahadev, knows everything, but even he can't clearly explain what is going to happen.
"Swami, why do you need to leave? We can face the problem together."
Goddess Parvathi wanted to convince Mahadev to stay at Kailash, but all her efforts were in vain.
At one point, she became angry at Mahadev, who didn't listen to her and still insisted on his decision to leave.
"Mahadev, why can't you understand me? If you want to leave, then forget about me, your wife, and leave."
Enraged, Parvathi shouted at Mahadev, who kept rejecting her proposal to stay at Kailash. In her anger, she asked Mahadev to forget about her if he needed to do his duty by separating from her.
The voice of an enraged Parvathi echoed from Mt. Kailash to Devalok (the realm of gods) to Nagalok (the realm of snakes). Everybody heard the voice of an enraged Parvathi.
Every god and asura who heard the enraged voice of Parvathi began to fear what type of destruction was going to happen.
When Mahadev heard Parvathi, he smiled gently at her and disappeared from her sight into thin air.
Thunder started rumbling here and there after the statement of Goddess Parvathi.
Ganesha and Karthikeya, along with Nandi and others, ran towards where Mahadev would usually meditate, in a hurry when they heard their mother's angry voice.
But when they arrived, they only saw their mother, who was shocked, looking at the place where Mahadev had just been standing.
"What have I done?" she said with a faint voice, looking at the place where Mahadev disappeared.
"What happened, Matha? Where is Pithashri?" Karthikeya questioned his devastated mother.
Ganesha looked around for Mahadev but couldn't find him. So, he used his divine sense to locate Mahadev's presence. But to his shock, he couldn't sense his father anywhere.
"Matha, why can't I sense Pithashri?" Ganesha, who just used his divine sense to locate his father, asked her worriedly, thinking that something had happened that shouldn't have happened.
Goddess Parvathi tried to sense her husband using her divine sense but even she couldn't sense him.
"Lord Narayan, please help me find my husband."
Suddenly, she remembered her brother, Narayan. So, she called her brother for help in finding Mahadev.
When she prayed, Lord Narayan, along with Goddess Lakshmi, arrived at Kailash. Goddess Lakshmi immediately went to Goddess Parvathi to console her.
"We won't be able to find him until he is born again."
Lord Narayan stated the reason for the disappearance of Mahadev's presence.
"He will be born in the human realm without any memories."
Lord Narayan answered Parvathi's question while looking at her with sympathy.
"Don't worry, sister. Mahadev knew what is going to happen, and everything that happens has a reason. He needs to forget about his past for the time being, if he needs to be reborn."
He consoled his sister, who was currently devastated by accidentally cursing her husband to forget about her.
"When... when will he be reborn, Narayan?"
Nandi, who heard that his lord had abandoned his abode to be reborn, asked Narayan while kneeling in front of him, with teary eyes.
While this was going on, other gods, along with Devendra, the king of gods, also arrived at Kailash and looked at the confrontation. They looked at Narayan with expectation.
Parvathi also shifted her attention to Lord Narayan.
"Kaliyug."
