~•Prologue•~

Today appeared as if any other day at the Johzenji Detective Academy. {Y/n}, the apprentice detective of Terushima, the lead detective, strutted down the white tiled hallway twords her shared office. The door was lazily opened; such a sight annoyed {Y/n}. Wrapping her slim fingers around the edge of the door, she pushed it to the side and walked in. There sat Terushima.

Terushima's desk was parallel to her own desk inside the small room. His desk was complete with a gold nameplate, while {Y/n}'s was silver. {Y/n} walked past Terushima and sat her purse down inside one of her desk's drawers. She tried her best to ignore her boss, who was lounging about with his legs crossed atop his desk. Chewing on the end of his pen, he spoke up.

"No 'Hello.' or a 'How are you?'?" Questioned the male with the blonde hair. {Y/n} continued to ignore his existence. Her acrylics make a slight tapping sound as she typed in her login password to her computer. A loud ring started emitting from the black cable cord phone sitting on Terushima's desk. A long sign flowed from his lips. "You really are impossible to talk to, y'know that?" He said, rolling back in his chair and picking up the black phone.

{Y/n} rolled her eyes at the male and continued to read through multiple emails about solving petty cases. Normally everyone at the Johzenji Academy sat around, pulled funny, harmless pranks, and rarely focused on their work. There was a reason for this though. There were no exciting cases to be solved. All of the boring, small cases were left up to Terushima and {Y/n}. They were so small that Terushima could easily solve them himself, which he normally did. All of the sudden, Terushima slammed the phone down and stood up, startling {Y/n}. "Finally! An actually exciting case!"
