Percy's POV

Percy is left alone in this world. She couldn't cry anymore, her tears had dried up. Or so she thought.

The rest of the Seven are all dead, leaving her to be the only surviving member of the Second Great Prophecy.

The battlefield was a mess. bodies of demigods and their weapons from both camps littered the fields. burnt marks and fire can be found everywhere. Heartbroken cries from suffering demigods can be heard all over the fields as medics rush around trying to save as many as they could.

With the end of the war comes the burial of the dead. Demigods from both camps joined hands to they lit their siblings' shrouds.

Right now Percy is standing beside the six shrouds that hold her friends, with a torch in hand and mist in her eyes, she lit them one by one and see the smock slowly ascend into the sky.

"Goodbye," Percy whispered, "see you in Elysium..."

A hand was placed on her shoulder, she turned to see Nico behind her. Nico looked tired and losing his sister for the second time as taken its toll on him, Percy is afraid that her friend would just give up on life any minute now.

"You ok?" He asked. Percy couldn't face him, She had failed her friends again, especially Nico, she couldn't protect Hazel.

"I'm so sorry..." She cried, burying her face into his shoulder. "I failed you again..."

"It's not your fault, the Fates have decided that their time is up and their strings to be cut. You can't save them from their fate."

Percy didn't answer but hugged her cousin tightly. Nico returned the hug, even though he hated physical contact.

Later that day, Percy was sitting on the edge of the bank, overlooking the sea. Just a few hours ago, Reyna had come to bid her farewell as she and the rest of the Roman demigods are heading back today. "Take care of yourself," Reyna had said, "I can't bear to lose another friend."

Thalia had also bid her good-bye and had left with the Hunters of Artemis right after the funeral. Nico is staying at Camp, along with the rest of her friends. That leaves Percy along, she originally wanted to go back and live with her mom...but that was not possible anymore. She didn't have a home in the mortal world anymore. Her mom and Paul had died in the hands of Tartarus's minions, they died because Tartarus wanted revenge on Percy for escaping his ream.

"Hey, kid," A voice said interrupting Percy's thoughts.

Poseidon was standing there in front of Percy, on the surface of the water. "Hey, dad, what brings you by?" Poseidon smiled and sat next to his daughter on the bank.

"What's on your mind, Percy?" He asked, looking kindly at Percy.

"I don't know, dad, I got nowhere to go. I can't go back into the mortal world on my own, monsters will find me, besides, I got no place to live."

"What about Camp? This is your home..." Percy sighed, a sad look crossed her face.

"But the memories, dad..."

Poseidon nodded in understanding and put an arm around Percy as she started to tear up.

"I know, sweety, I know.." Poseidon sighed, "how about this, my little sea star, you come and live with me under the sea? You know Amphitrite and Trition really misses you." Percy considered this and nodded, giving her father a little smile.

Poseidon smiled back and padded her head. " Well, I guess I will see you later then. Go pack your stuff, I'm gonna go ahead and tell them you are coming, okay?" Percy nodded again and gave Poseidon a hug before running off toward her cabin.

"You are leaving?" Nico asked from the cabin doorway.

"Yeah, I needed to get away from here a while, the memories are just too painful..." Percy answered, packing up the last thing she had on the bed.

Nico nodded, "Yeah, I feel you, but please visit often... you along with Thalia are the only family members I have left, also don't tell her I said that!"

Percy laughed, this is the first time she had laughed since the funeral. " What about Will? Isn't he family too? And Reyna?" Nico huffed.

"You know what I mean..."

"I sure do cuz, take care of yourself too..."

She gave her extremely goth cousin a hug before the ladder can even refuse it. "I.M. me often, okay?" Nico didn't need to answer, Percy knew that her cousin would IM her every day.

Then Percy picked up her bag and walked out of the cabin she had spent so many nights in and walked toward the beach. She turned around, waved a good-bye to Nico, taking one last glance at Camp Half-Blood and dive under the water.

This is a new start for Percy, but life can't always be under the sea, one day she would find herself back on the surface world...
