The truth?

Tokyo...

Jujutsu High..

Sitting majestically in the clear blue sky, rays of the golden sun cascaded onto the scenery within the school, highlighting the peaceful and calm environment.

Seated on a bench, about four figures, young Jujutsu sorcerers chatted happily with each other. The silver haired heir of the Gojo clan, the one and only Gojo Satoru sat along with his best friend, Geto Suguru, accompanied by the chatterbox Utahime, and the princess of Jujutsu, Mei Mei...

"Have any of you seen Kenshin around?" Satoru asked and looked at Suguru and Utahime. Shaking his head, Suguru denied.

"You know, speaking of him, he's really hot, you know. He's managed to catch the eye of most of the girls in our class..."

Mei spoke while Utahime nodded with dreamy eyes, clearly wanting to spite Satoru.

"He's just 15, Mei..." Satoru chipped in with a roll of his eyes while Mei Mei only smiled.

"Haven't you heard the 100 year old adage, Satoru, Catch them young and they shall be yours forever.."

Speaking with a finger on her chin like a wise Sage, the others only laughed jovially, dismissing her comments.

"I think you guys will look good together Mei, however I think Ieiri has called dibs on him already.."

Utahime spoke with a small smile, while Mei Mei instantly frowned and sighed.

The others were about to comment when Satoru instantly shot to his feet as his pupils dilated unnaturally. Beside him, Suguru shot up as well, as they looked towards the gates of Jujutsu High.

*BOOOMM!*

Suddenly, the figure of a ginormous wolf burst forth at breakneck speed, shattering the mighty gates. On its back were two bloodied figures that had dyed the silver fur on its back red.

*AWOOOO!*

Rushing towards them, the wolf howled, as Satoru and Suguru instantly rushed towards it and gently carried the bodies of the bloodied youths.

"What was it saying?" Mei Mei noticed the constant howling of the wolf as everyone instantly looked towards Suguru.

"What?! I don't speak cursed spirit nor shikigami if that's what you guys are wondering..."

Rolling his eyes, he and Satoru instantly carried the bodies of the youths towards the healing centers.

About an hour after Satoru and the others had taken Hiroshi and Nanami to Ieiri, another bloodied figure walked through the gates of Jujutsu High once more with his eyes blazing with fury.

After taking a few steps, Kenshin took a seat on a nearby bench to calm himself. Anger wasn't going to solve the issue. He needed to think. He needed to plan. At the very least, he had an ally of outstanding strength.

Seeing as how Kenzo was a higher up of Jujutsu and along with his unusual power, it wouldn't surprise Kenshin that almost all the higher ups were under his control. Hence, fighting against him will be akin to trying to fight against the whole of the Jujutsu Empire itself.

That wasn't a battle Kenshin could afford at the moment. For now, he needed to gather allies who were free of Kenzo's manipulations. An example of such an ally would be Satoru himself. With the six eyes, it would be hard for Kenzo to try to use his technique on him due to abnormality of the six eyes. Not only him, Suguru, Ieiri and Utahime.

Due to the unique ability of the six eyes, almost everyone close to Satoru would not be corrupted by Kenzo, as Satoru would be able to detect any slight change in their auras.

Sighing to himself, Kenshin stood and headed out. For now, he needed to grow stronger, after all strength and was king in such a world, and also he needed to go talk to Ayumu. He was sure the old man should already be aware of the chain of events that are happening currently.

.

After walking for a few minutes, still in deep thought, Kenshin finally reached the old mans dojo and entered without even knocking. Upon entry, he saw Yaga and the old man playing a game of chess to which he sighed and took a seat, ignoring the looks from both of them.

"You're becoming as disrespectful as Satoru..you should knock before entering an elder's room!"

Yaga instantly began lecturing while Ayumu signaled to him to just give them some space.

Shaking his head, Yaga left slowly, leaving the room for Kenshin and Ayumu who had a small smile on his face.

"Care for some tea?" Pouring out tea into a small cup for the youth, Ayumu disregarded the fact that Kenshin had previously mentioned that he completely disliked herbal tea.

Sighing, Kenshin took up the cup of tea and drank it one go, feeling his nerves relax together with his taut muscles.

"I see you've already managed to awaken the Animal Path of your Rinnegan. Also being able to best Toji Zen'in in battle is something about 98% of Jujutsu sorcerers would be unable to accomplish. Yet you did that at only 15 years old...how terrifying.."

The old man laughed and took a swig of his tea, while Kenshin raised an eyebrow.

"You know all along didn't you..." Asking with a questitioning look, Kenshin's eyes peered towards the old man who only smiled in response.

"Correct..." Ayumu nodded, not bothering to hide the fact.

"Then why didn't you do anything?! I almost died for fucks sake!!! Hiroshi and Nanami almost lost their lives!!" Screaming in fury, Kenshin smashed his fist in the cemented floor, shattering it like glass.

"Since you seem to know everything, tell me! Why the fuck does that creepy bastard want to assassinate me for?!" Calming himself, Kenshin's eyes flashed murderously and looked at the calm face of the old man.

"My Cursed Technique allows me to see fractions of the future in exchange for my own life force..." Ayumu spoke with a sigh.

"The current unfolding events are something I divined a few months after the death of your father Kenshin..."

Looking right into the youths eyes, Ayumu confessed with a sad smile. "As for Kenzo, everything he told you was true...he was my students, and was indeed best friends with your father...also, I was the one who formally ordered exile for your father..."

The moment Ayumu's voice sounded out, Kenshin's cursed energy flared in an instant, as a storm began brewing.

"First off, I'll tell you something Kenshin. Even I am powerless against the events of fate. Having the ability to view the future doesn't mean I can change things in it. I'm only a mere spectator in the grand scheme of things. Everything has already been predestined and any action from me to even alter a single minute thing would result in a deep backlash that could very well destroy everything..."

Using his own cursed energy to dispel the storm from Kenshin's outburst, Ayumu calmly spoke while Kenshin looked at him in surprise becoming speechless for a moment.

"Like I told you before, Kenshin, my cursed technique is both a blessing and a curse. About your father, I did order his exile, but not for the reason you think...Also Kenzo isn't who he was before.."

Speaking in a low and pained voice, Ayumu raised his gaze to sky and sighed, while Kenshin looked on in confusion.

"During the mission where everything had gone wrong, Kenzo was killed by a Special Grade cursed spirit in my vision. How he is alive now, remains a mystery, along with that scar on his forehead. Ever since then, he had never been the same, becoming an entity who only sowed confusion amongst the higher ups...

Despite being aware of what had transpired during the mission , he had requested that your father be executed for killing Mikoto, the love of his life. I had to intervene and request for exile for your father. It was the only way to save his life...

The original Kenzo was a brother to your father and would never have issued such an order. Although his body might be walking around pretty much alive, I know for a fact that the person walking around is not my student, Kenzo.."

Speaking with immense sorrow, as flashes of memories surfaced in his mind, Ayumu finished with a sigh.

Taking all the information in with a deep breath, Kenshin couldn't help but be ashamed of the fact that he had once considered Ayumu to be the sinner.

"In fact, your Rinnegan can allow you to see through matter right?..you should be able to find out if his body is being controlled by an external force or something..."

.

Meanwhile, upon hearing the current chain of events, Kenzo made his way towards Ayumu's dojo. He needed to confirm for himself whether all his plans had to be aborted instantly or there was still hope.

Cursing in his heart, he flashed an annoyed looked at his surroundings. Not only had his control over Kenshin been shattered completely, he was sure Ayumu was going to spill the beans. He didn't even understand why Toji had failed to kill the boy for the second time...

Upon reaching the dojo, he saw Kenshin and Ayumu standing before the dojo with calm expressions as if waiting on something.

The next moment, his heart shuddered as he felt an unnatural cursed energy instantly scan his body and rest on his forehead for a moment, the source, Kenshin's Rinnegan.

Meanwhile, Kenshin frowned, seeing the life like X Ray vision of what looked like a moving mass of brain matter in Kenzo's head. Unlike the normal human brain, there were no blood vessels connected to this one, and it was completely alive and seemed to possess a mind of its own.

"Kenshin...I just came to check on you to see if you're fine..but since you are, then I'll be leaving now.."

It took all of his willpower not to attack that man right then and there.

"You were right...I couldn't sense any abnormal soul energy. His soul is completely gone. The only thing keeping him going is this brain like figure in his head that seems to be alive..."

Hearing Kenshin's words, Ayumu couldn't help but sigh and shake his head.
