Reverend insanity: Heaven devouring demon venerable

On a random rainy day, there was a man in a sorry state, barely standing, and below him tens of bodies—a sight that was not rare in the Gu world, where strength represented everything. What was special about this man was that everyone on the five continents was trying to kill him.

"Ning Zu, give us the inheritance, and we promise you a painless death."

Ning Zu, standing in his own pool of blood, looked up at the immortals, each exuding an aura of wisdom.

"Ha! Hahahahahahaha... haa!" Ning Zu started laughing in an annoyed and shocked tone, though it conveyed more anger than anything. "You heavenly court bastards are so funny, I can't help but laugh at you all!"

An old man with a bald head and a long beard that almost touched the ground said in a friendly tone, "Friend, you know all your efforts are futile. Just hand over the inheritance; it will save us all time, and all of this is for the prosperity of humanity."

Ning Zu stared silently for a moment, then said mockingly, "Oh yes! For humanity, the legendary Heavenly Court is beating me with hundreds of Rank 8 immortals, trapping me in a formation, and all of this is for humanity! Not for your selfish desires like any other organization, but for humanity. Beating another human being for humanity, trying to steal what's rightfully his for humanity, and keeping what you get for yourselves, FOR HUMANITY!" Ning Zu couldn't help laughing maniacally, looking like a crazed man.

"You demon! How dare you criticize my Heavenly Court!" said another old man with fully black eyes, holding a small dark vortex in his hand.

"Ha!" Ning Zu was flabbergasted. "A demon, me? I was the one who protected the world from Spectral Soul! I was the one who made him change his mind and not kill all of humanity! I was the one who begged for your lowly lives! And now that he's dead, you all want to kill me for the inheritance he gave me!"

A woman who looked to be in her late twenties, with beauty that could make any mortal fall in love with her, approached the man with the long beard. "Heaven Overseeing Tower Lord, I just finished deducing.He doesn't have a single immortal or mortal Gu from the inheritance we are looking for. It seems all we need to do is search his soul to get the inheritance."

Ning Zu looked at this woman, who would make any man fall in love with her, with contempt. She was the one he loved most, but now she had betrayed him for glory and the hope of more power. "Your wisdom path used to be one of my strongest cards against our enemies, but now you're using it on me."

Fairy Zi Wei couldn't look him in the eyes, turning her head and flying away.

"No need to mind what he says, Fairy. He's just a dying man," said the Man with the dark vortex , looking at Fairy Zi Wei with lust in his eyes, which nobody relies because of his fully black eyes.

Ning Zu looked at all the immortals, knowing that he had no way of escaping. 'It seems that all I can do now is use that Gu' thought Ning Zu. He looked up at one of the immortals, the youngest among them, who was only 120 years old. 'He must have used a lifespan Gu recently, he used to look like a fossil.' After further inspection, using his immortal killer move, he was a little shocked. 'He has 280 years of lifespan left?! This is more than enough.' Ning Zu looked at the Heavenly Court immortals, making sure to remember each one of them. Then suddenly, Ning Zu appeared in front of the young immortal in an instant.

The immortals then realized he had used a legendary immortal Gu, Fixed Immortal Travel!

Without a second thought, Ning Zu pierced the young immortal's chest and removed his heart. The young man tried to use a killer move, but his world suddenly got darker .

"Ning Zu, you demon! You will pay for your sins with your life!" After seeing his son getting his heart taken out of his chest,The Heaven Overseeing Tower Lord said in rage, commanding every immortal to kill him and to ensure they captured his soul.

"Too late, old man!" Ning Zu took an immortal Gu from his immortal aperture that looked like a green seed the size of an infant's hand, shocking everyone with its Rank 9 aura.

"Ning Zu, there's still time for you to surrender! Please do it for the sake of all humanity!" said Fairy Zi Wei with a complicated look.

Ning Zu didn't even look back, planting the seed in the immortal's heart and feeding it some of the yellow immortal essence he had received from his friend Ming You, also known as Spectral Soul. "I'm using this bastard's help even after his death, hahahah!" Saying this, he took out his own heart, squeezing it until it was just a lump of blood. Then he placed the immortal's heart in its place, activating his killer move. 'If this revival method works, I shall be a demon in my next life!' That was his last thought before he died. The seed then proceeded to store his soul inside it and used the immortal's heart to absorb every bit of vitality the dead body had left, making his dead body as lifeless as possible. The heart then tried to use a killer move with the Rank 8 Fixed Immortal Travel as its core, using all its power to go somewhere else. However, the formation prevented it from going outside, but as a last-ditch effort, all of the Gu's power was used, successfully teleporting the heart but breaking The legendary gu in the process.

The Heaven Overseeing Tower Lord gave the order to his subordinates, "Find the heart as quickly as possible before it can be hidden! It can't be far away!" But suddenly, Ning Zu's immortal aperture started vibrating. Normally, it should start absorbing the heaven and earth Qi to form the grotto heaven, but instead, it unleashed a green light that made anyone who touched it feel as if they were on drugs. The aperture then proceeded to open its entrance, sucking all the immortals inside before closing its gate.

While that was happening, the heart was now next to what looked like a dead tree, but was actually part of a legendary tree that originated in the Western Desert. The tree opened a space for the heart, then closed it, hiding it along with the Rank 9 aura of the seed inside it.

Weeks later, the aperture broke and let the immortals out, then simply disappeared as if it had never been there. The Heaven Overseeing Tower Lord was the first to wake up, looking at his subordinates who were floating while sleeping without a care in the world. 'This... is bad. I can't think straight...' He then tried to use one of his killer moves to clear his mind but instead began to feel a pain he had never experienced before, bleeding from his ears. 'Human path...' He already knew this path was so powerful that even the heavens tried to suppress it, but he never thought it was this powerful, putting the proud Heavenly Court immortals in such a pitiful state. He suddenly realized that Ning Zu's body was starting to disappear bit by bit, which was dangerous because it was their last clue. 'I need... to... preserve his body...' But he knew that as a wisdom path cultivator, and a one in his state, he had no way of doing that. So, he would leave it to those who could. With his last bit of power, he formed a will to awaken the two immortals most capable of doing it, making him bleed from all his orifices and damaging his soul, barely staying alive. This task, which used to be as easy as breathing for him, now made him pass out and almost die.

The will moved to do its task, awakening the two immortals and clearing their minds as much as possible. Song Ye and Song Le, the two famous for being the Space and Time Brothers, woke up and received the task given to them by the Heaven Overseeing Tower Lord.

"Brother Le... it seems our time has come."

"It's ironic hearing it from you, Ye... a Time Path cultivator," answered Song Le to his brother Song Ye. They were not brothers by blood, but they had survived together in this cruel world and became closer than most blood brothers.

"Well... let's make sure it's done perfectly."

They both raised their hands, using every immortal essence they had. 

Double Immortal Killer Move - Time and Space Eternity Grave

Ning Zu's body was trapped in a dark blue transparent cube, trying to free itself. It attempted to move, but Song Le threw himself at the cube and used all his Gu, and most importantly, what used to be his vital Gu, the Rank 8 Fixed Space Gu, and every Dao mark in his body and soul to stop Ning Zu from moving, which in turn erased him from existence.

Song Ye then did the same, first using his previous vital Gu : man as before Gu. Returning Ning Zu's body to its previous state, which destroyed this Gu and multiple others while giving him backlash. 

"Human path... really is unfathomable."

He then approached the cube, using a Gu he had just recently refined, which stopped the River of Time from flowing in a set space, effectively stopping time. He could stop now, but he had to make sure. Since the one trapped was Ning Zu, a person who had been given a quasi Rank 9 rank, only being surpassed by the Venerables!

"And life without you, brother, is not worth it."

He used the remaining Gu worms he had and moved some of his brother's Gu, forming an Immortal Gu House. "Hmm... this shall be named the Heavenly Seal Immortal Gu House."

He then used all his Dao marks in his body and soul, just like his brother, to complete the new Immortal Gu House, disappearing from existence and trapping the last of Ning Zu's will left in his body.

After a while, almost everyone woke up, taking the Immortal Gu House with them, knowing that the casualties could have been worse.

Centuries later, a tree in the southern region began growing a fruit inside it, which would be the method for the revival of the Dao Guardian of the Venerable with the most killing intent.
