47 Another ghost from the past..

" What do you want?" I asked him point blank.

" I want you in exchange for my silence." He directly responded.

Me: What do you mean by that?

Karl: Don't pretend to be naive. You know what I'm trying to say.

Me: Actually, I don't know what you were trying to say so could you be more specific?

Karl: You're making me laugh.. Here is my deal.. I know that something bad happened to the Countess. I don't know if you kidnapped her or maybe you pushed her on the water.. And I really don't care if she is safe or not. I won't say a word to anyone but in one condition that I would spend an evening with you.

Me: You mean you want to have sex with me in exchange for your silence?

Karl: Exactly!

I wanted to slap him as hard as I could.. but he had the upper hand.. He could ruin everything.. And my brother, I needed to take him to the hospital before his condition got worse.
