Aghora, the Giant of Corruption!

"From this moment onward, your name shall be... Aghora!"

As Shiva uttered the name, the system responded with a flurry of notifications:

<Your summon, the 'Goliath of Dread' has been successfully named, 'Aghora'>

<The 'Goliath of Dread' is evolving in response to the true name it has been bestowed upon.>

With each notification, the giant's eyes, previously illuminated with a light green flame, began to blaze even brighter with a vibrant green hue.

A blinding radiance enveloped the giant, obscuring it from view as changes began to occur within the luminous aura.

As Shiva watched with anticipation, his eyes locked onto the unfolding spectacle before him.

The giant's size underwent a startling transformation. Instead of growing larger, it began to shrink, its towering 25-foot frame diminishing until it stood at a height of 15 feet. Yet, despite the reduction in stature, the creature's appearance took on a more formidable aspect.

Its muscles became more pronounced, bulging with strength, while its four arms and jaws took on a menacing quality.

Shiva strained to discern the alterations taking place amidst the brilliance. He could see the muscles becoming more defined, the bones breaking and rearranging themselves. The flames in the giant's eyes burned brighter, casting an intense glow.

After what felt like an eternity, the changes ceased, and the blinding radiance dissipated.

In its wake stood a 15-foot-tall white giant, its face still lacked eyes and ears, instead adorned with a terrifying mouth full of jaws and a single pair of glowing eyes.

Its four arms and two legs remained, but they were now more defined and exuded an aura of power.

Overall, the evolution of the Giant was successful as the system informed the same to Shiva through the notifications!

As Shiva examined the status of the giant, a surge of elation washed over him. He couldn't contain his excitement, especially when he noticed the last skill listed.

Each monster or summon in the tower was assigned a rank by the system, a classification that defined the creature's potential. These ranks spanned eight levels of classification, each with its own significance.

At the lowest end were Dormant Beasts, creatures incapable of even using mana, such as goblins or kobolds. They were generally feeble, and even an average human could handle one of these beasts without much difficulty.

Moving up the hierarchy were the Wicked creatures, slightly stronger monsters with the ability to wield mana, like orcs or ogres. Though more formidable than Dormant Beasts, they were still vulnerable to human weapons like guns and explosives, which could easily dispatch them.

Vile creatures stood beyond the scope of human imagination, possessing immense strength and a myriad of skills. Beyond them lay the ranks of Corrupt creatures, Terrors, Behemoths, Overlords, and finally, the most terrifying of all, Diabolic monsters.

These ranks typically remained static for most creatures, with very few ever getting the chance to evolve further. In his past life, when the goblin skeleton received the blessing of a true name, it evolved from a Dormant Beast to a Terror in a single leap. However, it never had the opportunity to progress beyond that point, only increasing its power through leveling up.

But now, Shiva possessed a monster capable of increasing its rank by devouring the souls of its prey, all while continuing to level up. Though it was currently classified as a Vile creature, it held the potential to evolve into a Diabolic monster. The mere possibility filled Shiva with overwhelming joy. The future possibilities for the curruption giant were limitless, and he couldn't wait to see what awaited Aghora on its path of evolution.

With this, Shiva had gained a valuable ally that would grow immensely stronger as they ascended the tower together. It was akin to having another climber by his side, yet without the limitations faced by living companions who might eventually reach their peak strength.

Instead, this summoned creature would continuously evolve and grow alongside its summoner, their progress inexorably linked to Shiva's own journey of growth.

"Aghora, come here," Shiva called out, and the white giant obeyed, its heavy steps bringing it near him. It knelt before him, lowering its head respectfully.

The giant's appearance was undeniably imposing, with its large head adorned with burning green eye sockets and its muscular body exuding an aura of strength.

Gazing at the giant with eyes filled with happiness, Shiva gently stroked its head, eliciting low growls of contentment from the creature.

"You have exceeded my expectations," Shiva remarked, his voice filled with pride and admiration.

"My first Servant, in this life, you will hold that honor," Shiva declared, his gaze filled with hopeful anticipation as he looked upon the giant.

"With you by my side, I might just face 'that thing,'" he mused, "But before that..." Shiva turned around, his eyes fixed on a specific direction, peering into the distance.

"Let's go wake up my first apostle."

It was time to reunite with an old friend.
