In the Interstellar Prison's dining hall, Su Mian blankly looked at the television screen. Her aged hands dug strongly into each other as she bit her lip, trying to resist the urge to cry.

Wei Zhen Hui was the man that she hated and blamed for her entire life.

"Su Mian, what's wrong? Did you know that commander?"

"Don't spout nonsense. How could a commander be acquainted with us murderers?"

"Su Mian, I heard that you were an imperial soldier when you were younger. Why did you kill someone?"

Human life was truly dramatic. She was once the empire's most outstanding interstellar military doctor. Now, she was a murderer sentenced to life imprisonment and hated by everybody.

The past events played in her mind like a black and white movie. 

In the year when she was 18 years old, she had just enlisted in the Interstellar Army and was sent to do fieldwork at the Interstellar Health Division. Her fieldwork mentor at that time was an interstellar military doctor, Doctor Gao.

Wei Zhen Hui and her had come from the same village in Planet Erya, Apricot Village. Thus, she had already heard about his fame.

However, she did not know that he was known as the Interstellar War Zone Hero nor did she know about his other nickname, Great Demon King.

One evening during a heavy storm, Wei Zhen Hui had been sent to the Interstellar Health Division His uniform had been drenched with water and stained with blood, which was a terrifying sight.

Wei Zhen Hui had been shot with four bullets with one in between his ribs on the left side of his chest. His situation was very critical and needed immediate surgery.

Su Mian was still just a young soldier. How could she have seen such a scene before? Her eyes immediately turned red as she almost dropped the clinical thermometer.

"What are you staring at? Open up his shirt and take his temperature immediately!"

Doctor Gao had already changed into a surgical gown and walked over.

Wei Zhen Hui's situation was extremely bad with a temperature of 40 degrees.

"Doctor Gao, skip the anesthesia, I can endure it!". After he finished speaking, Su Mian brought over a small bundle of gauze and Wei Zhen Hui stuffed it into his mouth and bit on it.

After the surgery, Wei Zhen Hui was sent to the Imperial War Zone Hospital by a helicopter that same night to continue his treatment.

Afterward, Wei Zhen Hui safely recovered and returned to the Interstellar Army. Doctor Gao and the team captain had pulled some strings for Su Mian and Wei Zhen Hui to meet a few times.
