When Yuri Zhang got accepted to Verden at 13, a secret school for the gifted, he met the then 9 year old Lana Sanz. But she was not part of the gifted program, she is there as a family member of one of the employees. For 4 years that Yuri trained at Verden, he grew closer to Lana. Until one day, she suddenly went missing, and Verden was turned upside down by its right hand person, Lana's brother. Verden has been turned and left into pile of bodies and burned down. But Lana was nowhere to be found and Yuri Zhang and the other gifted students went back to their respective lives. For years, Verden wasn't heard again and the mystery of that day has never been solved. Until one day, a girl named Wu Lishi turned up at Imperial University under the Department of Computer Science, where Yuri Zhang is well on his way to graduating. Wu Lishi looks a lot like Lana. Everything about her reminded him of Lana, but why can't Wu Lishi recognize him?
