Fate Grand Order. That is where I - Hans Friedrich, have find myself into as a one of the three last Masters of Humanity. A world of cute Outer Gods, laser swords, and women that could kill just by looking at me. ...Yeah, whose bright idea was this? How can you trust a selfish person like me to be a Master of Humanity!? Gaia, Akasha, Alaya, you got the wrong guy! ============ [Disclaimers(1): This is my second try at making a Fanfic or Novel of any kind so please tell me your thoughts and criticism. Even your hate. But, only if your hate has a good reason for it. So, please be smart about it, mmkay~? Disclaimers(2): This is SI, which stands for - Self insert. Meaning, I'm writing myself in this. So if you have any problems with the MC, then I can't help you, as it's - Me and I can't change my personality at a drop of hat. This also means, the MC will have Flaws, so if you want a perfect main character, this isn't for you. But if you do somehow enjoy the MC(Me), then...all I kind can offer you is a smile. Disclaimers(3): I don't own any of the Fictional characters I use in this Fanfic. I only own myself. ]

Growing up as a kid was as boring as it could be for a single child with distant parents. We had lived in the family home in the mountains since my Grandmother was adamant about that. Since my parents had jobs in the city, it wasn't uncommon for them to be absent from the house for weeks on end. It was a usual occurrence even before I was born so I wasn't upset at all. (I think this was why my Grandmother kept on urging my parents to have a child. It gets too lonely in this big house. Not that I minded)
Daydreaming and reading was a fun thing to do and it passed the time so I utilized it to the max during when I had the free time. As for when I didn't had free time, I was usually studying since there wasn't much entertainment here on the mountains with the closest town being an hour's ride away. My Grandmother had always kept me company so it wasn't as if I was being neglected. I had lots of books to keep me company.
I suppose all that daydreaming and reading in the at home had caused me to blend in with the scenery seeing as people find it a hard time noticing me. When they do, I'm always daydreaming or reading a book - so it seems like I'm staring at them, causing them to feel unsettled whenever I'm noticed. I would like to be upfront and greet them like a normal person, but the last person I did that to had jumped out a window in fright from suddenly noticing me.
I shouldn't have waved at him. They all avoided me on after that.
As a senior in high school, it was my responsibility to find a career that would support me throughout life, however, seeing as my goal through life had been to aim for a comfortable life, I saw that most would be out of the question for me; not because I wasn't qualified for it but because they were too tiring.
My parents hadn't cared about what career I would choose just as long as it wouldn't hurt the family name and seeing how my Grandmother died two years before, she wouldn't object to anything. After brainstorming a couple of ideas for an hour(I'm not that ambitious, so the decisions shouldn't be that complicated) I had come up with one ultimate career choice.
A professional Gamer. I was pretty good at League Of Legends, Call Of Duty, and Rainbow Six Siege. After telling my career choice, my parents was neither disappoint nor happy. They just nodded and went on with their day.
I wasn't mad at their lack of reactions. It was normal after all.
..
*Sigh*
Looking at the Jeanne D'Arc Alter Poster on the ceiling, I smiled as a thought hit me.
' I wonder what being a Master feels like...'
Having that thought in my mind - I slowly fell asleep, not knowing this will be the last time I will see my parents and my room.

I awoke to the smell of fresh dirt.
With a heave, I got up and raised to my feet. Looking ahead I could see trees, stretching on for miles. Coughing a couple times as I looked around, I took stock of my surroundings. This isn't my room. Not even close.
I spun around, finding an unexpected sight.
A massive lake. The trees kept going around its shoes, encircling it completely. In the distance I could see smoke over the treeline, as well as an absolutely massive mountain.
" Where..."
I looked at the black sky.
" Where the hell am I...?"
Checking my body for anything, I found something that made my whole face freeze.
Glowing a dark yellow color on my right hand was something that made me want to rip my whole arm off and burn and then shoot into outer space and then nuke a couple of hundred times for good measure!
" Scheiße." I cursed seeing the [Yellow Sign] from H.P Lovecraft.
This... This is bad. This is either a very realistic dream or R.O.B did their magic.
Pinching my cheek, I felt the spot where I pinch burn in pain.
" Yep... I am totally fucked." Falling onto the ground, I looked at the rolling black clouds.
What kind of deal is this? I get sent to possibly another World but the price is having Lovecraft stuffed into me? Are they trying to scam me or something?
" It changed..." In the midst of my thoughts, the Yellow Sign changed every so slightly.
I blinked and it changed again.
Every time I blinked - it changed.
However... Then it hit.
' I can see the Yellow Sign!' I shivered.
Maybe reading Lovecraft type of books as a child wasn't the best idea?
