What are you going to do?

Litty was lost in thought as Edward asked, "If I become a tamer, I'm definitely in trouble, right?"

"Huh? What?" Litty responded, confused until she remembered Edward's last words. "Even if you're not fit to be a tamer, how will you summon something haunting... but don't worry about it, leave that part to me."

"Alright, what are you going to do, enter the spirit realm and prevent their exit?" Edward asked ironically, but upon noticing Litty's silence, he added, "Well, what would you do as well"

"Obviously, and it's easier, at least for me, of course," Litty spoke, puffing her chest, thinking, 'After hearing that idiotic plan of yours, I at least have to play my role properly this time and help you as much as possible to achieve the life you want.'

The previous night, Edward lay on his bed with his eyes closed, hands under the pillow.

"Are you sure about this?" Litty, with closed eyes, spoke lying on her stomach on Edward's chest, moving her legs with her head supported on crossed arms.

"Yes, this is the best way to handle it," Edward said when he felt something akin to a fly bite on his chest.

Litty was now sitting, throwing consecutive punches. "You know this means throwing away the peaceful life you desired, right?"

Edward gave a smile, "As long as the useless one continues being useless, my peaceful life won't be possible."

Litty stopped, looking to the side, saying, "That still doesn't make any sense; it's just the beginning of the story. The director and the teachers can easily handle them."

"But they've already planted the seed of chaos, and it won't take long for this world to go through the same stress as the previous one," Edward was about to continue speaking when he was interrupted by Litty's scream.

"Ahhhh, you're a complete idiot, and you're risking your life... You imbecile." Unlike all the other times, Litty's subtly effective punch made the bed they were on tremble, leaving a tiny red mark on his skin instantly.

"So, that's why you're worried? Hahaha, it seems you've really grown attached to me, how strange," Edward spoke, now with his left eye open, staring directly at Litty. "Who will do the dirty work, then? It won't be Edward Amendraran."

"What do you mean? Then who will it be?" Litty asked, slapping Edward's finger as it approached near her head.

"It will be me..." Before Edward could continue speaking, he saw a look of disgust forming on Litty's face. "At this moment, I hoped you'd already realized I will hide who I am—a nameless, faceless assassin who will terrorize the villains."

"So, you'll kill them in the shadows, and... maybe I should change my name to Alpha," Litty, with crossed legs and hands holding her feet, swayed from side to side.

"Perhaps I should think of a new name too, just in case," Edward said, yawning right after.

'Ah... He didn't quite get it; it was to be expected,' Litty thought, pouting, then said, "But how are we going to kill the villains if we don't even know who they are?"

"I'll figure something out... Now let's stop this and go to sleep," Edward said, yawning again, turning his face the other way.

"Does that mean you didn't... What the hell, did you already fall asleep? Do you have narcolepsy or something?" Litty shouted, surprised, though seconds passed, and she remembered this happening before too.
