Reincarnation As Ye Ming In The World Of Martial Arts Reigns

"How boring"

That was my first thought after leaving my residence. Today was supposed to be a day of celebration for me.

Kayan Connor is my name, I come from the "land where all dreams are possible" commonly known as the United States. I was pretty easy going in life until my 9th grade, getting minimal education and engaging in sports, martial arts, or outdoor activities almost all the time. Well that all pretty much stopped when COVID-19 spread, as you can imagine a person who spent almost all of their free time outside was now behind 4 large walls.

It was extremely difficult for me because besides playing sports or doing martial arts, I had no other hobbies.

But all that pent-up energy and anxiety disappeared the day I learned about ANIME.

My journey with anime started with Death Note and it has shown no signs of ending, if anything it has branched out. I started reading manga, light novels, manhwa, and the like.

Martial Art Reigns was my first Chinese manhwa/novel, I really liked the main character and his story, except for a few clichés, was good, but I just wasn't satisfied with his ending.

This work showed me a whole new side of the world, it deepened my interest in martial arts and many other things. I just started consuming a lot of it and enjoyed indulging in the fantasy world.

Today I just turned 19, I even got into a good university and I was even preparing to live on the university campus starting next week.

Just as I was walking down the road, I received various notifications from my phone. I started sorting them out one by one, and in the end one park came into view, I decided to sit down and check the latest notification.

'It's really funny'

That's what I thought after seeing the content of the latest notification, it was a random fan filler poll from a Martial Art Reigns fansite. I just started filling it for fun, even though I knew it was in no way going to be filled.

Ye Ming was the character I wanted to be transmigrated/reincarnated into, I wanted the ability to have a world inside of me that was imperceptible no matter the person. In this inner world, he must have plenty of resources to cultivate, weapons, puppets, etc. I want to be the absolute master of this world, to be able to decide the flow of time and the power of the person I bring inside.

A body refining technique which, in its final stage, allowed me to have the body of the ancestral dragon (the initiator god), the name of the technique being the cultivation of the body of the ancestral dragon which refined both my body and my blood, essentially transforming me into a human body with a dragon.

I also wanted a very great talent for combat and a perfect physique to cultivate everything related to the Ancestral Dragon. As well as a Taoist avatar with high potential and a maximum comprehension talent.

I finished filling it, got up from the bench in the park and left for home, the day passed quickly, and just as I was ready to close my eyes to sleep, a light blinding light filled my vision, followed by a "ding" sound.

The next thing I saw after opening my eyes was not the ceiling of my room, but the starry sky, it was night, and there was the body of an old man next to me. The next thing I knew, I started panicking, looking left and right to figure out where I was.

As one might guess, this yielded no results, and at the end of my search I was hit with a wave of memories and pain. I almost fell to the ground from the sudden pain.

It took me almost an hour or two to sort out my memories and that's when I realized what had happened.

I got up and walked towards a stream of water and saw my current reflection, it showed a young person whose body was rather fragile, but who was quite beautiful.

The youth, while slim, had a cute baby face and his light brown eyes shine like a star twinkling in the sky.

He also has attractive blue hair with a red streak just above his forehead.

Yes, you all guessed it right. This was the face of Ye Ming, the protagonist of MARTIAL ART REIGNS, before he started his cultivation journey.

My mind went black for a while and the next thing I did was touch and pinch my entire face and body.

It was only after suffering from a painful stimulus that I realized that it was not a dream, I had come to this world where all people live and aspire to immortality. In a world where the law of the strongest dominates.

I had transmigrated as the male protagonist of Martial Art Reigns, Ye Ming.

That's when I started having a breakdown. I mean can you blame me, I had spent my whole life in a world that worked on law and order and the next second I was in a world where there were kingdoms and dynasties and cults so powerful that they ruled other people's lives, a world that was ruled by people who had the biggest fist, meaning your treatment is based on your background and strength.

A voice in the back of my head reminded me of the fact that I didn't have one at the moment.

After moving here and there, I noticed that my body was out of sync with my mind. My reactions and actions were delayed.

After sitting and thinking about it, I concluded that my consciousness and my body were out of sync, meaning my consciousness was taking time to adjust to this body.

Let's recap everything I know about Ye Ming.

Ye Ming, the Ye family, a large clan in Landscape City, was born. He belongs to a branch of the main clan and life was good during his childhood. Until he was 10, his life was normal but his father and mother were killed by members of his family as a scapegoat in a story linked to his uncle. Since Ye Ming's father was a Hoatian cultist, he was the perfect scapegoat. Then, he trained like crazy to surpass his peers but unfortunately his cousin Ye Zhenying, on the orders of the Patriarch cut off his meridians, pushing him to cultivate in icy water to strengthen his body for revenge.

One day while he was going to get something to eat, an old man called out to him and asked if he wanted to become stronger. The old beggar therefore arranged to meet him that same evening and went to the mountain with him. In fact, this old beggar is the former general of the Roselin dynasty. He was looking for a body young enough to be able to relive a life with the techniques he collected throughout his life. However when he took possession of Ye Ming's body, he activated a divine rank artifact The Golden Divine Veil, this artifact which had within it a palpable spirit annihilated the soul of the old beggar and then restored all the place to Ye Ming. It was at this time that Ye Ming's journey on the path to immortality and domination began.

I can therefore conclude that the body of the old man where I woke up is that of the old beggar. So if I'm not mistaken Beiming (the palpable spirit of the divine artifact) must be there too.

From what I know, there will soon be the tournament to enter the Red Sun Sect. But before that he will go to train in the mountains and will meet the princess of the Roselin dynasty.

There is no point in thinking about it right now, with my knowledge of future events, nothing can happen to me and I can live a life of domination, in a world I know like the back of my hand. I would be the most powerful and I would marry many women. In the manhua Ye Ming was only interested in Lan Su, while many beauties wanted to make him their husband. Such a waste !

Now that I'm here I'll enjoy every moment, it's my life from now on. And I would live it to the fullest so as not to regret this chance.
