Seth's eyes widened in fear, his heart pounding hard as though he was being slammed with a sledgehammer through his chest. What if? Just what if everything turns out to be his book? He was actually going to fall into a big mess, just like Ryder Faron.
Little did he know that his seniors were staring at him, stunned. "Hey, what do you mean by that? Where is your book?" Nicky said, glaring at Seth. At this moment, she was quite convinced that Seth had gone nut.
"Ummm, sorry, it's just a recollection of some hard times back on Earth," Seth lied, forcing himself to produce a smile. But no matter how he tried to spice it up, it still looked fake. With this, Xavier and Nicky weren't comfortable.
However, their reaction to Seth's actions lessened as they drew near to Golden Jackpot — not that they decided to ignore, they were trying to prevent Master-ranked securities from suspending them in the acts of talking inside the Jackpot's building.
Seth was walking as though he was being pulled by a rope. His gazes were inevitable on the tiled floor of the Jackpot building as they progressed into the main part of the huge tower.
Getting there, Seth scrutinized the structure of the building, putting on a serious countenance.
At the right side of the building, a heightened thick barricade surrounded an enclosed golden shelf, capable of storing as huge as a million G-coin. At the left, a two-sided ATM stood tall, attending to queues of people who were there withdraw too. The queue was sectioned into two, due to the ATM being two-sided, so, Nicky was able to reach out for the machine in less than five minutes.
The Jackpot was mostly crowded by Mage-ranked individuals, who seemed to have been withdrawing a lot of coins. Seth wondered why this was happening, but after remembering his plot, he nodded positively and thought: 'Tomorrow, the Mages are going back to the Black Ice Academy.'
Seth truly believed that he was in the world of his unfinished book. Everything was totally the same if he could recall. The Soul Trade, the "no-mother-birth" feature, the worldbuilding, and other things that seems hard to remember. All in all, Seth knew what was going to happen in the future.
Judging by his tragic plot, everything wasn't going to be nice.
The Unknowns.
Right now, the scenes were gradually unfolding. Seth feared for his life because he knew that he didn't complete the novel before dying. With those thoughts in mind, Seth already knew he was going to get destroyed by The Unknown.
The curse, the monsters, and the Dark Orcs. Life is going to be miserable!

The ATM sounded calm, during Nicky's withdrawal.
After some time, Nicky completed her withdrawal and walked back to Seth and Xavier who were waiting at the side of the building. It was a thousand G-coin. Big enough to take care of Xavier and Nicky's expenses.
"Let's go home now," Nicky said the moment she approached them. "I'm going to get my longsword from one of the Master ranked Blacksmiths so I can take it along with me to the Academy tomorrow."
Acting as though he didn't know anything about the Academies, Seth angrily asked: "Hey! You guys haven't told me about academies, is it a school?"
Both Xavier and Nicky glanced at Seth with a pleasant countenance, and Nicky was the first to say a word.
"Academies are training institutions, created by the Lords of Litchnigan. The academies are classified into three sections: the Dormant Academy, the Mage Academy, and the Sorcerer Academy. These academies are created to train young inexperienced magicians in other to rank up to a higher Ability Level and Rank."
Nicky halted her speech and Xavier picked up from where she stopped: "The Dormant Academy is a low-class training institution, which Newborns like you attend. Then the Mage Academy is a mid-class, followed by the Sorcerer Academy as a high-class. Trust me, if you can luckily awaken a Type-2 Ability, you are surely going to become a Master someday."
Seth nodded and glanced back at Nicky who was about to say something. Though, by hearing all these, Seth was completely dumbfounded.
"Newborns are assigned to awaken their abilities on the Moon Day by killing a Unicorn and absorbing the contents of its soul chamber's stone. This stone is called the Ability Stone, derived from the History Book which had been the source of the inevitable cultural practices of Litchngan. When this stone is absorbed, you will definitely awaken an ability, making you a Mage-ranked individual at that moment."
"But! That was never easy. Killing a Unicorn is as though fighting a dozen Critters — a group of Type-4 monsters. Many have repeated training for years in the Dormant Academy just because of their inability to slay a Unicorn. Sometimes, the Newborns turn out to be the prey. Some might die, and some might lose their soul chamber's stone after being stabbed by the Unicorn's horn through their chest.," Xavier added.
'This is my damn book! What the heck is going on,' Seth thought, stunned.
Now, he was really convinced that he was unknowingly writing his future life on Earth. What a mystery!
'I have to act fast! I've to do something about this before the chaos comes, now that I have the opportunity,' Seth thought again.
They got home in just some hours after eating some bun and grape juice, and collecting Nicky's longsword from the Blacksmith. Shockingly, Seth could remember when Ryder and his seniors went to the Jackpot, got some G-coins for their academy expense, and bought a bun on their way home.
Seth had tried to prevent this exact scene from progressing, but no matter how he tried, he still found himself doing what he outlined in his unfinished book.
However, there were still advantages he could get, but these advantages would only get him into more problems. Writing All Natures (History Book 2) would only make things extremely worse.
Plus, the most astonishing part was that Seth was once going to become a jerk!
How about impregnating his fellow Mage? How about conducting dreadful rituals to rank up artificially? How about killing more than one Unicorn just to awaken more than one ability when he only had one anonymous sleeping God?
'I'm sure I'm not going to let this happen, I will do something about this.'
Seth brainstormed, finding a possible way to get through all the future occurrences. But still, he never found a probable way out.
After entering his room, Seth was about to sleep when his heart rang for notifications. The next scene was somewhat aggravating.
What's next?
"Uhh! Meeting The Eye in the Black Scorpion Clan."
Seth furiously frowned, staring at his cat — his father just got him one. After glaring for a while, Seth glanced at his cat again and yelled:
"That darned and cursed idiot is going to throw me out of her house tomorrow!"
