3rd Year. Special Request.

Another year passes. As the days go by ,I start to become less attached to the world around me. I may be an inhabitant of it ,but my soul is that of a passerby to this world. Then I remember that this "world" I live in is just a game in the world I lived in previously. But it doesn't feel like a game. All the people here who were just NPC's to him before are alive and directly impact his life. They all act like humans with emotions like love and greed. It's basically indistinguishable from real life. In that case why not treat this world as his new "Home" from now on. Since there didn't seem to be anywhere else to go other than here. With such self-enlightenment ,it allowed me to break through to the Dao Comprehension Realm. I also comprehended a rare Dao ,the Reality Dao. Out of the rare Dao types out there this was one of the more powerful concepts. Containing the ability to alter reality. Of course with his strength and comprehension level ,he could only slightly affect reality. Even with his huge amount of Qi ,he could at most cause a somewhat significant change to the world. Like a natural disaster or something similar. But with his current strength he could already cause high magnitude earthquakes just by freely releasing his strength. My Armor has already become a King Realm Artifact Reaching the Mid Stage and evolving into the Icy King Cicada Robes.

After cultivating for an hour ,I headed to the mercenary guild to pick up my first 5-Star Request when I was told by the receptionist that someone had urgently requested me for a special task. Seeing the look on the face of the girl running the counter ,I could tell this wasn't something I was able to say no to. So I went along to the briefing room.

"As you know ,you have been called here by a big client. The requester wishes to stay anonymous ,but they have a strong backer. They heard about the Misty Cloud Sword Sect's Core Disciple who is also a mercenary. Therefore they specially requested you to take down a half-dragon! A wyvern that failed to evolve into a dragon halfway into the process and obtained a few abilities of the dragons. It's difficulty is that of a 6-Star Mission." 6-Star means at least level 60 in difficulty. That's pretty big for a half-dragon. Usually they're at most level 55. That means that it was either really close to becoming a dragon ,or it's a rare breed of dragon that isn't recognized by the natives. I'm willing to bet on the rare breed. Oh well ,guess I'm getting another promotion. With the strength of a level 87 cultivator ,a small level 60 monster isn't worth breaking a sweat.

After destroying the half-dragon ,which turned out to be a Leviathan Wyvern. It wasn't a wyvern that failed into evolving into a dragon ,it was a wyvern that succeeded evolving into a rare variant of wyvern. It has a Level of 65 and can even be dangerous for level 70 cultivators. After successfully returning to the guild and turning in my quest ,I also informed them about the situation and received a rank up to 6-Star Mercenary. I had just become a 5-Star Mercenary 2 months ago though.
