Chapter 388: Heist (2)

Day 69420, it's cold, unbearably cold-

-Stop- Dabria ordered -There's barely any wind up here and it's been only 3 days, Atlas did it longer.-

If anyone can illustrate my situation, just make my arm bulging with muscular veins, if I did it as long as Atlas did, my abs would probably also have abs of their own. Hecate and Dabria is at least keeping me company, time at least seems to be at normal.

We got at least a decent layout of the garden. The danger level is small as the guards are just celestial warriors hired by Hera and the rest are just minor goddesses, nymphs or dryads who possess little to no fighting experiences as they are mostly only responsible for taking care of the nearby crops and the tree itself.

So the biggest threat would be Ladon. Even if we kill all that, what's scary should the immediate descent of Zeus and Hera. Zeus would be beyond happy at the fact that he finally has permission to beat the crap out of me.

We'll escape to Prometheus' world of that stupid diner right after and get the pithos, our actions should at least get so many attention that other gods and celestials would sign up.

Horus would definitely be impressed, the guy would love to see me beat a fellow member of his stupid council. After beating Helios and everything, my magic is in the mid grey stage but with the mana capacity that surpasses several black cores and I also have the strength to fight an average god.

Dabria is already concerned that my powers are on a similar level to hers. She thinks that I'm going to steal her schtick once I eventually reach the black stage.

-Yes, we get it, you're the protagonist.- Dabria grumbled while rolling her eyes

The time came for Ethan to comeback, it's several hours over a week and he came with another god who volunteered to taken over from me.

"Well, did you accomplish anything by holding it up for a week?" Ethan asked "Even Heracles didn't hold it up for that long you know. You should be proud of yourself."

I got down and just laid there while panting and taking several deep breaths as I can feel intense sore in both my arms and legs. As I dry myself up and got a new shirt on under plot armor which is now a hoodie again.

"You 2 are insane to have volunteered to do this for so long."

"Don't worry, the 2 of us will switch turns every 3 days." Ethan reassured

"Yeah, I can help put your name in the record books." Hecate added "Maybe you'll get a cartoon made from your stories someday, but it will be heavily altered so that children can watch it."

"Yeah, and then there's going to be so many alternate version of my stories and probably will blame our author that he just stole the name off of a Greek hero."

We left the sight and with my ability to hide my presence and Hecate's magic, we are able to sneak around the garden undetected and block any spectators from knowing what we're up to. We got close and sneaked pass the guards and haven't eliminated anyone...yet.

"Well either way, we just want to piss Hera and Zeus off, right? It's really exciting, it reminds me of that time I helped Demeter help find Persephone." Hecate exclaimed

"Hecate, say, if I were to use your torch to burn down the tree, how effective would it be?" I asked hush tone

"Very." she answered "You would burn most of the tree. Even though with my magic casted on this world, so it would prevent the immediate descent of any gods or any other interference...help would arrive to help the tree and help the tree get back in shape."

"Is there anything that you want in return?"

"A wheel of your sun chariot would be nice." she replied "And one apple since we're doing this anyway."

-Yeah, give it to her.- Dabria responded -Small price to pay for her help.-

-I was going to anyway, the other wheel will go to Stella and we separate the rest to share between us and Zach. I should also give one of these Apples to Gia since she wants to be a goddess.-

-Didn't think you were so caring.-

-Do you really want me to remove you from dessert privileges?-

-You wouldn't dare...-

-You would need it, your belly looks like it gotten a little it flabby. Have you stop doing your daily exercises and been eating more than usual?-

Her face went flushed and red in embarrassment. She then stood up in anger alerting everyone around us.

"How dare you say that to me face?!" she shouted "You know I'm sensitive about that topic."

I was mostly joking considering that I don't really focus on people's body anymore, I still do it sometimes...that sounds wrong, but I do it only to observe their body language and their potential weaknesses. You know me already alright, it's like almost 400 chapters, you already know the type of guy I am.

Even though hush can prevent other people from hearing us, the sight of her alert everyone to start attacking us. We then sprang into action.

"What did you say to her?" Hecate asked as she got out her torches "I said something about her getting a bit more flabby, it's really barely noticeable unless you really focus."

Hecate then touched Dabria's arm and her eyes widen for a bit.

"I heard you've been making large purchase of food lately, it seems like those cheesecakes have been treating you to well." Hecate commented "You've gained 3 kilos."

"So I was right, now no time to assign blame and let's burn both calories and that damn tree."
