"Well then, why don't you travel into random worlds and recruit the gods of those worlds? I mean, you can even establish a soul contract with them if you can beat them into submission." Nyx suggested "You are already on your way to have the strength rival some of the higher ups in the council."

"Yeah, I'm on my way there, I want to be there, but I'm not there yet. At the same time, by getting stronger every second, I feel like I'm playing into his hands, I know he plans for me to become a vessel, so by becoming more stronger, I'll be making his master harder to stop."

| Yes, some myths suggest they are the same person, while some suggest that they are different, but in this novel, there's Eros the son of Ares and Aphrodite and Eros, the god of procreation, a primordial god. Try not to confuse them. |

"Oh, he became a mortal and died a long time ago." Nyx pointed out "Besides mortals are a perfect host."

"Yeah, why?"

"Perseus, which one comes first?" Cain asked "Gods or mortals?"

"I don't know."

"Exactly, no one knows." Cain sighs "Some say gods were made as a manifestation of mortals' despair and some say that gods create life out of boredom. No one really knows the answer, we don't even know the names of the first ever mortals and the first ever gods since it wasn't recorded. So like love and hate, mortals and gods are 2 side of the same coin, the best host for a god is a mortal."

"And I'm perfect, trained by gods. I'm no regular mortal, I'm a stronger than average reincarnate who possess the powers of both gods and demigods, so I'm the most perfect fit for Chaos. How do you know the answer? And why tell me now?"

"I have my ways, I always do." Nyx responded "Chaos, my parent, my creator, going against you, my descendant. If she wins, many worlds would get destroyed and our timeline may end, if you win, you will become the most powerful being in existence."

"No wonder it's the Greeks! It's always them! The master is a Greek, most of Chaos' subordinates are Greeks! My father is a Greek! Let me guess the next boss of this novel, a fucking Egyptian one maybe?!"

-Maybe the author is a Greek.- Siege suggested -That's why he loves using their mythology so much-

-No, I'd say he's just a nerd.- Ace argued

"They aren't so bad, they made contributions of science, philosophy, mathematics, astronomy and many other things to spread it to the world." Cain responded

"Well if you do become the vessel, it just gives me a higher chance to die since I know that you'll definitely be able to kill me then."

"You aren't gonna try to join Eros after this, are you? Because I will be forced to stop you and request Hades to give you other creative eternal punishment."

"Come on now, the tour isn't finished." Nyx said as she wrapped her arm around my neck and pull me along "I can't have guests be disappointed at my palace, the best palace in Tartarus."

"Which isn't saying a lot, a wooden hut down here could qualify as a billionaire's mansion."

"Look, if you're good during our trip here, I'll let you get a free souvenir from my gift shop."

"Please do not treat me like a child. And why would you have a gift shop?"

"It's sarcasm honey. I meant that I'll gift you the fragment of Kronos."

"No, this is weird, why are gods so nice to me? Like what did I do?"

"Well let's go to the living room, I got some cookies waiting there. I'm sure you would like them since you're all probably tired from that short conflict earlier."

-Well at least she's a better grandma than Hecate.- Damon commented

-Yeah, she never served any of us cookies.- Diana added

Hecate was in her office in Phoenix academy doing her usual work but she sensed something weird in the air.

"I sense a disturbance in the grandma force." she said as she perked up out of nowhere
