Chapter 286: Demon world (2)

Well we walked past the gates after we got inspected but the demons gave us weird looks, then again to become a celestial you need to use the medallion which comes from the death of their lord.

Like us, those 13 generals probably got a lot of underlings that they can send out to attack me and my bonds since it's probably being reported to them about our arrival at this very moment. Not that I mind, they'll send out their highly trusted underlings to access our strength and then come for us ourselves.

We can take at least 2 demon general each, but our biggest concern at the moment is the info of Diana's family, since she's a phoenix and is confirmed to be part demon, Dabria concluded that either one of her parent is a demon or it would be one of her grandparents.

So we plan to make one of us become the demon lord so that we can order everyone to help find the info on Diana's parents while also gaining control of a literal demon army.

We can go around and search around like usual, but it would be quicker to use our new found powers and beat the 13 generals into submission. There are no rules against that.

We then head for the tower with 13 spikes which is where the 13 generals would be, I don't want to wait till they send the underlings out, I want to take them by surprise and all at once. If we accidentally kill a few, I can just use 'charm' to attract the citizens to vote my bonds into the position.

I know, I'm not a great guy, but if you read this far and the abstract of the novel, you should all know that already. I abuse everything for my own gain, of course I have some standards.

I got the sword Eliza and Luke made for me in my spatial storage and my strings on stand by. We warp all the way to the top tower under the prism of light which is super bright.

We broke through the building and land on the 14th floor which is the demon lord's throne room guarded by the strongest demon guards and mages. The other 13 floors are where the general resides, your influences are indicated by which floor you are in control of.

The higher you are, the better your position is, but the 13 generals still have the same status of authority. The guards charge at us, so I manipulate the strings to go all over the room as my bonds retaliated against all of them.

"Call the generals here! I'll defeat them and become the demon lord!" I demanded as I manipulate the strings with aura to wrap around several demons and sliced them all as they died instantly.

They didn't listen to my demand as mages shot spells at me, but my eyes disrupt all their spells and it couldn't even leave their hands as their spell broke before their eyes.

The room is then engulfed by Diana's black flames burning them all.

"Death magic: Souls of devourers" Diana casted as the floor then turned black with black hands with claws pulling the demons down and they then get engulfed by the pool of darkness killing off all the demon guards on the floor and leaving no corpse behind.

-We're supposed to leave some of them alive- Dabria said

-Yeah, they're supposed to be our guards if we either make you or Perseus take over the throne- Damon added

-Sorry- Diana apologized -I still can't control the power properly-

-Well then you need some training from me and Perseus then- Dabria offered -I can use simple spells like then with a snap of my finger and Perseus got an affinity to all attribute making him learn things easy and can at least offer some advice-

-Thank you- Diana replied

-Wow, finally got some compliments, won't be long till I get you as my 3rd girlfriend-

Dabria just sighs in response. We then hear a lot of footsteps heading up the stairs.

-Well let's fight them all and flush them out of the building-

Siege is the first one to charge ahead as I then see his body transform into wind breeze and turn 'Presence' on to hide his presence completely. The demons who are running up the stair didn't even see anything as one fall after another as their throats are swiftly getting ripped out by the second.

There is then a rain of ice arrows falling on top of their head piercing through their heads and killing them instantly. We got the high ground so we fend them off easily as we killed them off one by one.

I can then sense something coming out of my shadows, I dodged in time, as a figure jumped out and avoided a slash from a demon's sword. I can then sense a demon warping into the throne room right behind us. On their armor, they each had a medal with the number 3 and 6 respectively, meaning that they are both a general.

Demons come in all shape and form, but they share a few features in common, their skin are pitch black and have horns. Most have fangs for teeth like a ghoul.

"Who are you and why are you attacking us?!" #3 the spatial mage demanded

"See, one of us wants the throne over there. And the quickest way is to defeat you generals, thanks for coming here since you made our job way easier."

"You look down on us too much, we are a general who have gone under intense training, what makes you think that you can defeat us"

"I can sense that you're strong" The #6 added "Each of you are celestials and may even each match us in strength, but there are only 5 of you. The others are on their way here, you'll die in a futile attempt"

"Well let's wait till all 13 are here then, so that we can defeat you all at once"

"I'll never let a person like you become our king"

"Hah, we'll see"
