Chapter 113: Weakling

3rd person view

"Balor?!" Albert was shocked to see who the culprit was behind the abduction of his family.

"You recognize me even with this mask on, very surprising" he said as he took off his mask

His family and servants were gagged, and tied up. Balor was there waiting for him alongside him were dozens of people who also wore mask to hide themselves.

"I'm sure you called Perseus to help" Balor smiled "But you'll be doing a service for us this way, since this is where you both will meet your end"

1st person view

"Well I'm going with you" Rex said "I need to see how my subject fight"

"I never agreed to be your subject"

"Yeah, I'm coming too, but we'll have to come back and meet the others before you leave, I want you to at least meet the current king" Urie chimed in "Since you want to be the king, you need to at least meet him before you leave"

"Yeah that's fine, let's go, Albert don't usually message this stuff at me unless he really meant it"

Me and my bonds warped to Artia, I brought Urie and Rex with me, and we headed toward the location, it was this old looking building and the streets were empty.

-There's runes and enchantments on the door, they will be alerted of your presence the moment you enter- Dabria commented -Not just that, I can sense spatial disruption tools inside and a spatial field, like we theorized, it's a trap-

-Fun, let's go in- Ace responded

We opened the door, and there was a stairway downwards and it was barely lit, we descended down and arrived in an open space, the moment we arrived, several spells were launched at our direction.

Urie then summoned an earth wall to block the attack.

"Is that spirit magic too?"

"Of course, spirit magic can summon any elements, the only downside is that fire made by spirit magic is weaker than fire made by fire magic" Urie explained

"Balor, I can sense that it's you, so let's cut the bullshit and tell me where the others are?"

The earth wall disappeared and I hear the sound of laughter coming from the other side. In front of him was Albert and Aenon both tied up in chains and unlike the others, they weren't gagged. Albert's sword was stab to the ground as several people tried to pull it up but they couldn't.

"I'm guessing that those chains have some great restraining powers to tie both of them up"

"My strength is being severely weakened, I cannot break these chains" Aenon responded "These chains is also constantly absorbing our mana"

"We couldn't fight him" Albert added sadly "Otherwise everyone would get hurt"

"It was a wise move that your family moved away" Balor applauded "Otherwise we would've used them as leverage too, so since we couldn't get them, we kept Albert alive to use as our leverage instead, both of your death will be used as a trigger for the start of our civil war"

"What makes you think you can beat me? And what makes you think that you can win the civil war"

"Yeah, I don't like this guy" Rex mumbled "Too arrogant"

"Yeah, only a weakling would show off their power like that Urie agreed "What was the phrase again? Right, All bark, no bite"

"Coming from terrorists, that sounds really insulting." Balor clicked his tongue "Submit now and we might give you a painless death"

"Should we just kill him?" Damon asked "Or should we leave some for information"

"Yeah, we can tell Eleanor about this later, I'm sure she'll be angry, but calms down after a couple of days, but be sure to leave Balor to me, I'll deal with him, you 2 should just observe this fight"

"Well I don't plan on interfering, whether those people live are not my concern" Urie responded

"Make sure to use those special powers of yours, you know the glowing eyes, I want to research about them more" Rex added

"Kill them!" Balor ordered as he pulled out his sword "And kill these hostages too!"

-I sense some recording devices too- Dabria commented

-Should I destroy the recording devices in this room?- Diana said, I nodded and she flew off at high speed

-Shouldn't we keep them for evidence?- Siege asked

-Nah, we came here with Rex and Urie, they are both technically terrorists, so we better destroy it, Ace you go and destroy the spatial disruption tools-

"It's embarrassing that I have to use this on you, considering that you're weak, Balor, but I need these guys to live since they're my business partners." I said as I pulled out Dream Eater "Void of eternal dreams"

A black orb then expanded and engulfed everyone in room, everyone fell asleep apart from Urie, Rex and my bonds.

"Wow, I'm feeling really drowsy right now, you got a good sword, my son, would you mind if I borrow it?" Urie asked as he yawned

"Yeah, I never seen one like it!" Rex joined in excitedly even though his eyes were half-opened "Can I borrow it too?"

"Well if you can even lift it sure, let make take care of those guys first"

My bonds then went to kill everyone, and helped freed the hostages while leaving Balor to me. I then used the chains that was chained to Aenon to tie Balor up, i then inspected his mouth to see if he had any pills to swallow in order to commit suicide. After Diana destroyed the recording devices, Ace destroying the spatial disruption tools, and with the others killing the rest of the mercenaries in the area, I then opened a warp gate, back to Urie's castle.

"Let's go, you guys can go back to my parents, I'm sure that they will be worried that you abruptly left in a hurry, I'll take Balor to the vampire kingdom and interrogate him there, you do have a cell over there right?"

"Of course, why wouldn't we have one?" Urie answered

"What about your friend over there?" Rex asked

"They'll know how to handle the situation"

I put away my sword, as the void then slowly shrank, Urie and Rex entered the warp gate followed by me dragging Balor along. When we arrived, I threw him into a cell, and shot cold water to wake him up.

"Curse you and those terrorists!" Then he realized that he no longer had the pill in his mouth "I have trackers and arrays imbued into my body, the moment I die, the royal family will come looking for me!"

"Heh, hahaha" I laughed "Do you seriously think the royal family will come all the way here? You're really making a fool of yourself, besides...did you seriously think that I'm scared of them?"

"They won't let you get away with this! I'm a royal guard!" he retorted

"As a matter of fact, I was just recently hired as their assassin, you know by the 3 royal siblings, here's the list of names that I needed to dispose of" I then show him the paper "Though your name isn't on the list, I think that I can make an exception, since you wanted to use my family as leverage, I'll kill yours while I let you rot here before I finally finish you off"

His face was then struck with fear and shock.

"Let me tell you something Balor, it's that no one threatens my family and gets away with it"
