Meeting the Overgrown Lizard

Scarlet Dragon Mountain Range....

Within Ah Diao's cave Damien was shirtless as he lied down on his back, while in deep contemplation and enjoying fresh air.

A few meters away from him was Ah Diao who was busily roasting Profound Beast meat over a grill. Over the last few days, Damien had grown to like the meat of Profound beasts. According to him they tasted like well basted steaks covered in sauce even when cooked without spices.

" Master your dish is ready." He quickly cut the meat into sections and brought some to Damien wrapped in fresh leaves.

" Hey Ah Diao, let me ask you something. If you had to chose between a prideful fire breathing chicken with nine tails or an egotistocal overgrown lizard, who would you chose." Damien asked as he took small bites of his steak.

" Well Master, a chicken doesn't really have large portions of meat. I'd rather go for an overgrown lizard and be satisfied than a chicken and still be hungry." Ah Diao spoke after a bit of contemplation, not knowing the impact of his words .

" Woah, you're really smart Ah Diao. Then get ready because after I finish the meal, we're going to the Wasteland of Death. " Damien said as he chewed on his meat with a happy expression.

" Wasteland of Death? Why there?" Ah Diao was shocked. The Wasteland of Death was the most dangerous place in the entire Blue Wind Empire. It was a Heaven for Profound Beasts and a hell for cultivators.

Only a few number of cultivators have been able to successfully enter and come back in one piece.

" We are going after one overgrown lizard." " A very egotistic one at that." Damien laughed.

" So this is the Wasteland of Death? Doesn't look like much to me." Damien adjusted his glasses that looked a bit crooked and placed his hands in the pocket of his black turtle neck jacket.

They walked in a while later after observing. On their way they had been targeted by many Profound Beasts, but the beasts were immediately repelled by Ah Diao's Incomplete Ancient Void Dragon Bloodline.

" Return to wherever you came from vermin!"" Or face the consequences." Reaching deep into the Wasteland, they were stopped by two dragon like creatures that were flying in the sky.

" That's not very nice. Hey Ah Diao are all dragons this foul mouthed?" Damien asked as he threw a questioning look at Ah Diao, who couldn't help but sigh.

Without saying much, Damien's body shot upwards towards the sky, leaving a sonic boom and a wide crater on the ground.

" Die vermin!" Seeing Damien instantly appear, they both roared out, and shot out a column of silver flame.

" Boom!" The flame moved fast, as if they were shot by energy thrusters. Damien didn't even bother to dodge or block and was sprayed with the flames. However a second later, he still stood there harmless.

" Aren't you quite the lovely couple ." Damien chuckled as he looked at the two silver hundred feet long dragons that had completely surrounded him.

" You dare to mock us, disgusting vermin!! I'll rip apart your-!" The male dragon burst out in a fit of rage and began to boring villain monologue until it's body was blasted into a bloody fog by a casual punch from Damien.

" You talk too much." Damien picked his ears. " My husband no!!! " The female dragon roared in pain and deep loss. It opened its mouth and flew towards Damien to swallow him up.

" Boom!" Just as it was about to swallow Damien, a fist blasted towards it, carrying with it enough force to blast a mountain to dust. However the fist stopped right in front of it, as wild winds whistles past its face, leaving it eyes wide opened.

" Instead of killing you like your noisy husband, I have a better idea." Damien smiled and clasped its hands together. Soon silver light burst out into a huge chain which tied itself around her neck. Grabbing unto the chain he dragged the dragon to the ground.

Upon reaching the ground, Damien waves his hand, and the hundred feet long dragon transformed into an extraordinarily beautiful woman with long silver hair and a well carved body. " You!! " She growled as she watched Damien walk to her.

" Do you know why I saved you?" Damien took off his glasses, as his eyes flared fully at her. She couldn't help but cower in front of eyes that were glaring deep into her soul.

A few weeks ago, Damien had gained a technique called the Great Divination Technique. It basically allows you to see through time related events of an object or person.

" It will be better if you see for yourself." Damien places two fingers on her forehead, before her souls was transported through different timelines of her existence. And in all the timelines, there was only outcome that awaited her. It was Death. She didn't know why, but her life had been programmed to be ended by Yun Che or some foreign people.

Ah Diao stood on the spot with a sorrowful expression. He understood her plight very well, as that was his exact fate in those timelines.

" I'm guess I'm getting softhearted. Okay that's enough heroing for now." Damien sighed.

" What's your name?" Damien smiled and stretched his hand towards her. " I'm Long Feng my Lord." She wiped her tears as she took his hand and stood to her feet.

" Call me big brother." Damien said to her, leaving an envious Ah Diao. " Bi-big .." She couldn't bring herself to call the God-like figure in front of her big brother.

" Young Master. " She bowed and spoke respectfully. " Sigh. Do whatever you want." Damien shrugged.

" Anyway this is Ah Diao. The successor of the Ancestral Void Dragon. I'm sure you two would get along really really really well." Damien sighed as he tried to match make, without caring about the fact that he had just killed her husband brutally right in front of her.

Ah Diao who had recovered his cold expression flared a bit of his aura, which completely shocked Long Feng. She was a dragon as well and she could feel the purity of the Ah Diao's bloodline that was realms apart from hers. She could even feel a need to prostrate in front of him. And he looked like he was a servant of the young master.

Looking at the staring contest between the two dragons, Damien couldn't help but clear his throat.

" It's time to go meet that overgrown lizard." Damien smiled and took off while Ah Diao supported Long Feng who was currently weakened and disappeared with her.

" Welcome human and...why do you have that bloodline running in your body?!!!" Upon reaching a huge cave, Damien entered and walked on for a bit. Suddenly, a large pair of eyes immediately appeared, before a voice spoke to them and expressed shock upon seeing Ah Diao's bloodline.

" My Lord. " Upon completely examining the bloodline of Ah Diao, the dragon sighed and respectfully said. It had completely ignored Damien who seemed completely ordinary amongst the trio.

" Uhhh, my master came here with a mission ancestor." Ah Diao took advantage of the respect and shifted the spotlight to Damien who deadpanned.

" Your Master? !!! Which human dares to claim to be the master of the Ancestral Void Bloodline." The dragon roared out, causing the cave to rumble.

" Me!!!" Damien roared out, as a shockwave burst out of his mouth. " Listen to me you egotistical overgrown lizard. I came here to have a sensible conversation with you, but I don't mind destroying the pitiful remains of the Azure Dragon God!"

" I can't answer anything you ask until you pass the test. " The dragon spirit spoke sternly. " Ancestor please!" Ah Diao tried to interject but was rejected respectfully by the Dragon Spirit.

" Fine I'll take your test. Bring it on " Damien got into a punching stance, as Ah Diao and Long Feng immediately left the cave.
