Chapter 6 Part I

We all went through the gates of the Kingdom, which Aiden had to show his ID card as he was a native of Fuvolius. He also had to pay the entrance fee for me, Sin and Stella since we were not from there.

Noah, Jack, Chloe, Sin, and Stella all had to leave for a little while to attend to some private matters, leaving me behind with only Aiden.

Aiden rubbed his chin thoughtfully and declared, "We should start by staying at an inn, but I must first visit the Guild to receive my remuneration for our last mission."

I inquired with a puzzled look, "What exactly were you doing in that forest Aiden that you keep referring to as a mission?"

He glanced at me before mentioning that the location was near Elvin Territory, the homeland of the elfves. "Unfortunately, there have been reports of a few wicked elfves utilizing a particular object to call upon the Prohibited Dark Arts."

I believe the Forbidden Dark Arts to be a type of Magic that is used for immoral purposes, including offering sacrifices for greater power, altering physical forms, and other unethical activities. This type of Magic is strictly prohibited by all governments and those caught practicing it could potentially face the death penalty

I exclaimed in disbelief, "Forbidden Dark Arts?!" "Yes," Aiden replied with assurance, "and it was my responsibility to get the Artifact and obliterate it, which was simple for us."
