Some may believe that life as a reincarnated is like a ray of sunshine but that only lasts for a brief moment before it fades away. Not everyone is blessed with great fortune or extraordinary abilities from the start. Some people may be born into difficult circumstances and have to struggle to make ends meet. I had no magical power when I was born, in a world where it was common, so I was granted a special skill called Negation. This ability is what has kept me alive, as it can cancel out any magical attack. I have encountered people who were close to me, only to witness their eventual demise right before my eyes. I have endured the loss of so many people that it has caused me to become emotionally disconnected. What is the purpose of forming relationships if the person is destined to die anyway? The road I go is too dangerous for any weak person both physically and mentally to ally with. That is the harsh reality of Reincarnating for me. But I still do not lose hope. No matter how many times I question myself, I will prevail. There must be a reason to why I was sent here and I must find out. Doesn't matter how many times I fall or how many circumstances I've endured pain like no other. Chapter 14: DanaFall

"We're here!", exclaimed Elyena.

Elyena's initial enthusiasm was quickly replaced with dread as she observed her hometown overrun by a demonic creature. Her surroundings were engulfed in flames, with all of her beloved possessions reduced to ash. With a heavy heart, she watched her community suffer and its citizens perish.

Elyena looked on in horror as a gargantuan, diabolical being wreaked havoc across DanaFall. Its body was made of solid rock, with sections of grass sprouting from it. Its eyes glowed an ominous red. It destroyed homes and snuffed out the lives of countless innocents. She could hardly believe her eyes as she wondered aloud, "How on earth did this monster get in here?"

My eyes grew wide and my mouth dropped open in astonishment as I exclaimed, "I'm guessing this isn't how it's supposed to be!" Elyena was petrified, unable to move or say anything.

A radiant white illumination suddenly filled the sky, sending out intense magical vibrations that encompassed all of DanaFall. Shortly after a strange figure appeared in the sky, it appeared as if they were the source of the bright white light. Their hair was white blowing in the winds and they wore a white and red cloak.

The individual raised their arms in the air and declared, "Goddess Aqua, grant me the power of ice and water and beckon a mighty rain!" Their speech were calm and exact.

Soon after a massive downpour of rain descended over DanaFall, the flames were quickly extinguished. It must have taken an immense amount of magical energy to cast such a powerful spell.

Elyena's emotions changed drastically when she spotted the mysterious figure and exclaimed "Nezha!" I was amazed by his power and exclaimed, "That's Nezha?!? I didn't think he'd be so strong!"

Elyena grabbed my arms imploringly, "Tomo, you must come to the aid of my Town!" she implored. Her gaze was filled with despair, as if she had exhausted all other options. I silently nodded my head and started off for DanaFall, reaching into my Dimensional Storage to draw out my Katana.

I dashed into the town, observing the residences that the demonic creature had demolished. There were numerous structures that had collapsed and had huge gaps punctured through them, a terrible occurrence. Looking at it made me enraged.

*ROARR!*

I heard loud roars and clangs of a sword ringing out from the middle of town, so I instantly used my flashstep to get there as quickly as possible, my feet leaving deep imprints in the ground due to my immense velocity.

Upon arrival I beheld a struggle between the demonic creature and a knight in full armor. The armor was crafted from some kind of dark, red-tinted dragonic material and the knight wielded a massive black sword. Every clash of his sword was met with a loud clang.

My senses came alive as an adrenaline rush surged through me. Every nerve and cell in my body sprang into action, as I experienced a thrill of anticipation. My mind raced as I considered how to overcome the monstrous being. "I know this feeling," I said aloud. "It's time for you to be finished, ugly bastard," I declared.
