Reincarnated! But into a dying world

She was simply walking to her local supermarket to refill on some snacks. She really was too pitiful! Only fifteen years old yet already near death's door! Soon to cease existing, just like that! In a blink of an eye. It was truly a wonder how she was still able to reflect upon her thoughts though. She remembered crossing the road, head down, reading the newest update of her favorite online novel, 'I reincarnated as the side character!' then suddenly, Ka-boom!

She felt as if a giant rock had just smashed into her, crushed her organs and squashed all her bones into dust. Honestly, thinking back, she wasn't far off. She had been hit by a giant delivery truck after all. At that time she could only smell the stench of her own blood flowing. Forming a puddle beneath her entire body. Now she was quite clear that she should be dead. Yet at the same time she was confused.

'Ah! This is really weird! God, if I'm supposed to be reincarnated then please, could you hurry up the process? It's getting quite painful, my entire being burns, and what's worse is that my head is unusually conscious, sharp and aware making my pain ten times worse! Considering how active my brain feels, I'm truly shocked that all I can recall is the lead up to my 'accident', the blood, the muffled cries of shock and terror, the sirens and the shouts of my name.'

She analyzed as she recalled her slow and agonizing 'death'.

Then, she wondered how great it would be if she could just fall asleep there and then when suddenly a white light flashed in her head. She felt her body taking the last breadth. The light came and went just as quickly as her last breadth. Yet, she was still conscious. It was strange, it was like she was alive, yet clearly not. She even begun wondering if this was the place where the dead would end up and if she was currently in her 'soul' form.

'Perhaps this is the the after life?'

'Heaven? If it is how boring--

'Huh? What is this? Why can I still feel my eyelids, and why do they feel kind of weird, almost like they became wider and heavier? Hold on a second. My pain! It's completely vanished! W-wait, could this really be, reincarnation! Did I finally make it? Am I really a new person now?'

She questioned her strange situation once again as she commanded with rushing excitement and eagerness for her eyelids to open. Despite the strain the pair of eyes finally opened. Light flashed into her new, round, big and ruby colored eyes.

Her long curly eye lashes fluttered as she took in the sight in front of her.

Suddenly her excitement and happiness completely disappeared.

She cursed violently at her luck.

"Wtf is this! Some kind of sick joke!?"

Were the first few words she spoke in her new life.
