After the conference had ended, the Solusians went their way on the sea aboard their sail ships. As the chief himself was in a hurry to go home, Peter was left with Blake, representing Solus to the middle continent merchants. As they talked with the merchants, the Solusian quartermaster learned that pressuring the Nexians into giving their connections away wasn't at all necessary. With the rising fame of Solus, the merchants themselves were looking to establish trade relations with the Solusians. While copper and bronze were plentiful in the foreign lands, steel, alcohol, and porcelain weren't, so they sought to acquire these commodities from the Solus Dominion.
