Awakening

I was on my way to the school. It was the first time I heard it. The loud noise piercing through my ears like an arrow. It sounded painful, sad, angry and lonely. It was a man. I looked around just to spot nothing but buildings and trees. I thought it was just a hallucination. As I was getting late so I ran like my life depended on it. I can't afford to be late again to Mr Kim's classes . I already got my marks deducted for being late.
