Reborn into Twilight

I don't remember much of my old life. The life I had before being born. I was confused, when one day I woke up to the sensation of my head being squeezed. I couldn't see much, and everything was so loud. Then the pain came. The pain of someone smacking me in the ass. I cried, and I heard something like the sounds of relief.

During the first year of my life, I realized I was born into Twilight, due to my mother and father being Renesme, and Charlie Swan. Being an infant was boring, and embarrassing. All I could do was lay in my crib staring at the ceiling. To relieve my boredom I started to do some simple math, such as addition and subtraction. Soon, I realized that doing simple maths in my head allowed me to improve my mental functions. I could add in the fifth digits now without much problem. So I started to practice my memory through some exercises I came up with.

Right after my second birthday, I heard the squeals of joy from my mother. Apparently she was pregnant with Bella, the protagonist of the show. My mental faculties were growing at an alarming rate. Around when mom was three months pregnant, I said, "Mama", followed by "Dada". My mom was so happy. However, I knew soon that this happiness would end.

I was in the hospital with Dad. My mom was giving birth to Bella. After around eight hours, Isabella Swan was born into the world. I knew that times would get dark.

Once mom was able to go home, we came back. After a week, I could tell mom was showing signs of post partem depression. She and Dad started to fight around when Bella was a month old. It only lasted three months until she left. I was left with my dad while my mom took Bella with her. I stood at the door while my dad chased her out to her car asking her to stop. While my dad stood out on the driveway watching mom's car disappear, I stood in the doorway watching everything happen. Even though I knew it would happen, it still hurt. A month later she called dad, to talk to me. She asked how I was doing, and apologized for leaving. I asked her where she went. I could hear her crying over the phone. She said that she and dad had to get some space from each other. Then she asked me to hand the phone back to dad. I saw the look on my dad's face. He sighed and all I heard was ok.

I am six years old now, and I am currently saying goodbye to Bella while she is leaving for Arizona. My parents would split the summers between them. While one summer or Christmas dad got us, the other my mom would. I knew though that this was the year Bella would stop coming.

When dad heard from Bella that she didn't want to come to Forks it destroyed him. I remember seeing him cry. I was in the second grade. I decided that I would only go in the summers to visit. I knew dad would be lonely during the Christmas seasons.

Bella and I started to fight a lot. Not like when she was little, and would be attached to me. Now she started to question everything I did and would rat me out to mom. Being the older brother, I would just start to ignore her. Soon enough I stopped going out to Arizona. Mom would call on my birthdays and always made sure to send me gifts, but I haven't seen her over a couple of years now. That's how it went until high school started.

I met up with Riley Biers once I got to school. The thing was he and I became best friends once we met. I was known in town as a genius. It helped to do those exercises when I was a baby. I tried to see if I had any psychic powers, but it turned out that I didn't have any. High school was a breeze, due to my eidetic memory, and high comprehension rate. I knew Spanish, and French, while maintaining a GPA above a 4.0. It was my senior year when the Cullens showed up. The entire school turned to see the new kids. The Cullens looked like their actor counterparts, but more beautiful. I saw that Edward looked at me like I was weird. Then so did Alice. I came to the conclusion that I had the same shield ability like Bella.

Riley, and I both got into Seattle University. I decided to go there just to stay close to Forks. I grew attached to the small town. Soon graduation came around. I was chosen as the Valedictorian. I gave an amazing speech. Afterward, everyone met up in the woods to have a party.

"You know, you can always call if you need anything. Also, your sister is moving to Forks, so try your best to come back when she gets here. Stay safe and don't break the law," said Charlie

"Yeah, Yeah, Dad," said Alex

"Be safe," said Charlie

I got onto my black Harley Davidson and revved the engine. I took off onto the street and made my way to Seattle. Once I got to the university, I parked my bike and made my way to the apartment Riley, and I rented together. Between working at the diner, and trading stocks, I put enough money together to get me through college with zero debt, and still have enough to last me a while.

"You know, I don't why you came here. Especially when you got into an Ivy League," said Riley

"I need to make sure no one date rapes you," said Alex with a smirk on his face.

Riley just stared at me like I was the biggest idiot in the world.

"I like Forks, and I don't see a big point in moving across the country," said Alex

"Okay, okay, you were always super outdoorsy," said Riley

I continued to unpack. After we finished unpacking, Riley and I went out to check out the local food around Seattle.

College was easy, and wasn't that challenging. I attended every class but came out bored. I double-majored in business and finance. I contemplated switching to criminal justice to become a cop. I decided to wait till after we were done with the geds.

I received a text from dad asking if I would make it to dinner today, when Bella got here. I told him yes. I got on my bike and started to make my way to Forks. I drove into town and made my way over to the house. I pulled in right after my dad did.

"Did you guys just get back?" said Alex

"Yea, texted when I left the airport," said Charli

"Hey, Bell. Been a while," said Alex with a wide smile

"Yea, its been a while," said Bella while standing there awkwardly.

I grabbed her luggage and walked into the house.

"What's for dinner?" asked Alex

"The diner," said Charlie

"Of course it is," said Alex

"Let me show Bella around the house first, then we'll leave once she gets settled in," said Dad

I made my way to the living room and turned on the sports channel. I heard Bella and dad make their way upstairs to show her around.

"We'll get dinner when she's done unpacking. You don't have school tomorrow do you?" asked Dad

"No, tomorrow's an off day," replied Alex
