Ling Luo Chen's POV

My name is Ling Luo Chen, a level 55 control type spirit king. I was born a princess. At home, I was called The Snow Princess. Ever since I was born, I was held in high regard. Even in the renowned Shrek Academy, I stood out. Not only am I a student in the inner sanctuary, but I am also a member of the current Shrek Seven Devils! No matter where I am, I surpass everyone.

'*sigh* You must think I'm strange. If I have it so good, why am I sighing? It's because you don't understand my heart. Why do those ugly people have boyfriends and someone as pretty and talented as me, don't have a boyfriend?' "So annoying."

I flipped open a magazine and turned to the astrology page I usually read. 'Eh? Best day for love? Really? I must be able to meet my prince today?! So nice I won't be single anymore. Then, those people won't be able to make fun of me anymore...'

I stood up and happily prepared myself for class while dreaming how my future boyfriend is gonna look like. How he's going to treat me like a real princess or better yet a queen. Kyaaaa!

It's almost the end of the day and no sight of my boyfriend. *Sigh* What is going on? Why did such a thing happen? I only have one last class with the other Shrek Seven Devils left. I feel that it is hopeless at this rate.

'Can it be Dai Yao Heng? No fault in terms of appearance and it matches mine but there is that cocky attitude of his which always pisses me off. It can't be him.'

"Xiao Luo Luo, you are as pretty as always. How do you keep your skin so smooth? Would you mind teaching me your secret?"

'Gong Yang Mo is so feminine. Don't even bother thinking about it?'

"Sister Luo is something the matter?"

'Yao Hao Xuan is a kid. It can't be. Chen Zai Feng has that cold attitude. Not suitable to be a boyfriend.'

Afterwards Xuan Lao arrived and took us all to the Battle Spirit Arena, we were told to have a face off against the next Shrek Seven Devils. 'Can it be....I will meet y prince here?'

"I'm Xiao Xiao, 2nd year student. Level 29 control category."

"I'm Jiang Nan Nan. Level 41, attack category."

'Alright, skip the girls. The guys are the important ones.'

"He Cai Tou, 4th soul spirit weapon master."

'He's big. His name is kinda funny too. Not too bad.'

'26! This is too low! How can he be in the Shrek Seven Devils?'

Dai Yao Heng: "Xuan Lao, what about him" *Points that the same person I was thinking of.*

Xuan Lao: "Oh, this is my disciple. He will not be participating in the match since he's only acting as substitute for emergencies. He's only here to observe."

'Substitute? Then is he even weaker than the boy just now?'

???: "Hello seniors, I'm Shen Yin, 2nd year. Level 45, attack category."

Current Shrek Seven Devils and Back-up team: "?!?!"

'Level 45, 2nd year. Did I hear correctly? And Xuan Lao's disciple! Why is someone like him just a mere substitute?'

Dai Yao Heng: "Why wasn't he selected as one of the Seven Shrek Devils? In terms of power, he might've been the strongest."

Xuan Lao: "That is correct. He did beat all seven of the back-up team, but he chose to relinquish the position to others. Alright, enough chatting. Time to battle!"

'He gave up the title of Seven Shrek Devils!!! Is he nuts?!' Everyone else must be thinking the same thing. This is the first time I heard that someone doesn't want to be part of the team. Why?!

The teams will be decided by the two strongest people which are Ma Xiao Tao and Dai Yao Heng. On Ma Xiao Tao's team, there is Gong Yang Mo, Huo Yuhao, Wang Dong, Xi Xi, Bei Bei and He Caitou. On Dai Yao Heng's team, there is Chen Zi Feng, Xu Sanshi, Ling Luo Chen, Yao Hao Xuan, Jiang Nan Nan and Xiao xiao. Shen Yin and Xuan Lao will be standing by the side and watch the fight.

'Based on strength, our team is much stronger. Ma Xiao Tao actually called out that weak little boy to her team.'

Xuan Lao: "Don't go easy on each other. You must give it your all. The loser must say 'I am a pig.' Battle Start!"

Right after charging forward, I activated my <Ice Field> ability to take control of the fight. 'I'll let you all know how strong this snow princess is. Hm? I lost conscious after that.

I snapped open my eyes and sat up. 'It can't be! It was absolute ice element spirit essence.'

"You woke up. How are you now?" I heard a voice near me and turned my head to see the black haired boy kneeling beside me. 'Wah...his face is even better looking up close. His skin is kinda pale put that's also good because it makes his hair and eyes stand out more. He reminds me of a prince. Such a good candidate to be my boyfriend, even though he's a bit young. It doesn't matter. As long as I become stronger, the matter of age can be fixed.'

"I'm...fine." I can't even see a single scratch on me. How is that possible? I'm pretty sure I got hit by multiple attacks before.

Ma Xiao Tao: "Ah, it was such a breeze."

'What?' I turned my head again and saw everyone on my team turned into golden statues. What happened while I was unconscious?

Xuan Lao: "Good, Team Ma Xiao Tao wins. The loser must live up to their punishment."

Once they all recovered from whatever skill they were put under, everyone on Dai Yao Heng's team were forced to say 'I am a pig', including me. So annoying. I am forced to say such an ugly thing.

Xuan Lao: "Now that that's done, Xiao Yin, go heal them up so we can start the next match. It shouldn't take long since none of them suffered serious injuries. Take this as training."

'Eh? He has a healing ability? So rare? No wonder I didn't feel any pain after waking up.'

In the next match, the two teams will switched two members. That Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong came over to my team. Why did such a thing happen? It's all because of this kid! You dare come over next to me. Is it not enough that you dominated my ice? You bastard! Hmph!

'Beside the element advantage, you don't have any use. Your spirit level is still the weakest so hurry up and switch with that stronger and more handsome guy. "Hmp, it's all because of your absolute ice element. It made me say, 'I am a pig'. If it weren't for you, how could I have lost." *Hits Yuhao lightly on the head*

"It hurts. I'm sorry." Yuhao saw a certain senior standing gloomily alone in the corner and walked up to her.

"Sorry, senior Ling Luo Chen. I touched your back back then. I was only thinking of victory. I didn't think too much about it. Sorry." After hearing no response back, he rushly walked away, scared of her wrath, "Then, I'll leave first. Bye."

Ling Luo Chen: 'Today, I have meet someone who could change me from princess to queen. I have met my king. His name is Huo Yuhao.'
