Chapter 1Chapter 1

In the depths of the night in a wide ground full of graves, there's a woman sitting beside a tombstone surrounded by gloom.

"Li Li, I've paid them back, all the things they did to you, I've given them triple the pain you've suffered," as she traced her fingers over the name engraved on the stone.

Recalling something unexpectedly

"Do you remember the person who pushed you off the ship's deck? I just burned him to death," Ji na uttered, laughing as if it were just a funny story. "But the first thing I did was to make sure he remembered everything he did to you, causing him to suffer and regret until he died."

"Tch, too bad your sister escaped; otherwise, I would have skinned her alive, sprinkled salt on her, and exposed her flesh on the sun; I want to torture her so badly."

There was a long period of silence in the air. A cold breeze blew through her inky hair, taking her mind off her dark thoughts. She sighed and smiled, "Lihan, it's been 7 years already.... I... I miss you so much." Ji na gasped for air to stop her sobs.

Suddenly.

There was an abrupt screech sound, like a car tire stopping. Inside the car, a woman in white heels was exiting.

Ji na raised an eyebrow at the visitor.

The face was so familiar that she couldn't forget the one who plotted her husband's death.

Ji na exclaimed, "Oh, so you're not dead yet?"

The woman snarled, the corners of her eyes red as if they were about to burst.

She spewed her words, "Hah!! Pity your husband is already dead! How was it? The feeling of grief eating inside you!"

Ji na said lazily without looking at her, "Stop the bullshit, what do you want?"

"You bitch! I'm the rightful heir and you stole everything from me!"

Ji na gets up from her seat and pats her bottom to remove the dust. "There is nothing you can get; I've already donated the shares and it will be used to establish a charity fund." She moves so gently, as if she were here for a picnic.

"You! What did you say?" She scrambled inside her bag and yelled, "No, give it all back to me! It's rightfully mine in the first place!" pulled out a black object and shakily took aim at her.

"I'm going to kill you, Bitch." A gleaming black muzzle pointed at her.

Unconcerned, Ji na simply stared at her and moved forward.

"Stop or I will pull the trigger!"

Ji na grinned at her and stepped forward, saying, "You won't get anything, not even a single cent, none."

"You bitch! You really wanted to die! Then... then die!" The woman pulled the trigger with trembling hands.

Two gunshots were fired at the same time, but no one noticed.

Blood splattered everywhere including the woman's white heels were tainted with red.

She turned around and said, "This will be your end, and now I will have everything back."

After a while, when she didn't hear any pleading, not even a single cry, she came to a halt and looked back.

She noticed Ji na on the ground.

"Hey you!- you stand up! What are you acting for?" she exclaimed, moving forward and looking where the guns were fired.

Ji na's head was dripping with blood. "No, I didn't do it! It's not me, not me," the woman exclaimed crazily as she looked around. Her hands were trembling, and the gun had been thrown in the grass.

"No! No! Impossible I did not aim on her head".

The woman hugs her arms and relax. She looked at Ji na once more and spit, "fucking deserves it," and walked away, getting into her car and driving away.

Ji na's final thought was how much it hurt when she was shot, and she remembered her husband, who died in the ship's electric engine fan. It must be incredibly painful.

.

.

.

The cold rainstorm was raging outside the window, but the person sleeping inside was soaked in sweat.

"Haaaahh!!!" A girl sleeping in the bed awoken from her nightmare.

The girl groans, her body aching. Her back was covered in cold sweat.

When her sight finally focused, the first thing she saw is a small and smooth hand.

"This is not my hand"

Her hand was calloused and, importantly, her ring finger was missing. Her hands are not small, it was not like this, And this room is so familiar to her, but she has no idea where it is.

Knock-knock

When she heard the knock, her mind returned.

"How are you, Nana?" A lovely lady opened the door and smiled at her.

"Mom?" No way, mom was already gone....

"Sweetheart, are you still angry with mom?" she asked, sitting in the corner of the bed, caressing her hair.

Stunned; how can this be, Mom...

"Stop staring, I know I'm wrong, ….but I really can't go to the school's event because I have work to do, and a patient is in poor health and still needs someone to supervise him; I promise I'll go next time. Can you forgive mom this time?"

Every memory flashed back to her.

She remembered her mother saving a boy and then being murdered.

She went back to her childhood!! It's not a dream; God gave her the opportunity to be reborn!!

"Mom!!!" I cried as I hugged her tightly. "Mom, if you don't want to come with me, I'll come with you!!"

"Hush, little Nana, I can't bring children there"

"Then what about the boy you're watching, isn't he a child too? Whether you say yes or no, I'll still go" it's embarrassing to cry in your 30s, but isn't this body of her still a child?

"Nana!" her mother, lamented helplessly.

"No! You can't stop me!"

"Sigh, child, you still have a cold, don't force mommy or I won't make you your favorite food," she said as she wiped her child's tears and sweat away. "You're sweating again; let's change your clothes before you flare up."

"No mom, I can do it myself," she said, grabbing the clothes from her mother's grasp.

"My nana is already grown up, she won't let me dress her up anymore, and my baby no longer wants mommy" sulking in front of her child.

Jina's lips twitched. I don't think I can do this baby talk even though I'm small, my soul is already old.

Brushing her child's hair, time flies; her child is already ten years old.

"OK, just sleep for a while and mom will make you food," she says as she tucks her into a blanket.

She watched her mother walk out the door, closed the door, and zoned out while still staring at it.

I still have to go to the hospital, I can't let Mom die again.

Still thinking about how to save her mom, not aware her eyes getting heavy.
