The guests of the show all exclaimed in surprise.
The host too looked at Mu Luzhu with a confused expression.
How did a normal painting session turn into splash-ink painting?
Under the astonished gazes of everyone, Mu Luzhu then picked up a thick brush and started to paint rapidly over the area she had just splashed ink on.
To be accurate, she painted in a seemingly random fashion, because no one could understand what exactly she was painting.
Mu Luzhu guessed what everyone was thinking.
As she wielded the brush over the white paper, she explained, "This is called splash-ink painting, where formlessness becomes form. 'Kai Zhou Xue Hua Bian,' written by Shen Zongqian of the Qing Dynasty, once said, 'In splash-ink, mountains are called splash-emerald, grasses splash-green; such splashing serves to bring out the spirit of the painting.'"
After her explanation, both the guests and the host showed looks of sudden realization, and praises filled the air.
