When I arrived in Raftfleet, I was greeted by one of the sailors who greeted me with a big smile.
"Oh! Mister Champion is here!"
"Hahahaha. Please call me Jacob. Mister Champion is a bit much."
"Bwahahahaha! Very well. The boss is waiting for you in the Dahak."
"Oh? Really? Teacher waiting for me?"
"Aye! She wants to celebrate with you. Go on! You deserve the feast!"
I smile at him and walk toward the Dahak. As I get closer to the Dahak, I can see Kisara already waiting alongside Logg and Lun, her husband and daughter.
"You are late, Jacob! I thought that you were forgetting about all of us!"
I give Logg a grin and walk toward him while saying.
"Sorry about that, Logg. The royal family held me back. Something about tradition and whatnot."
"Bah! Come on! The feast is about to start! We will drink and eat until we go to sleep!"
I let him drag me to the Dahak and see that both his wife and daughter can only shake their heads. We arrived in the meeting room that changed into a party room where a lot of food (Mainly fish and meat) and drinks were already prepared.
"Oi! You are late, Jacob! I almost ate all the food by myself!"
"Hahahahaha. Sorry about that. The Royal Family wants me to stay at the palace for some time."
"Bah! Come on then! Sit! Here!"
I take a seat on her left while Kisara takes her right side. Raja gets up from her zabuton and raises a glass of wine high. I can see the other people that attend the party grin at her and wait for her speech. I wonder if they are the important people of Raftfleet.
"Today is a joyous day for the people of Raftfleet! My student spread the name of Raftfleet throughout Falena! He proudly declares that he is a proud student of mine! The Barbarian Admiral! Kek! This Barbarian Admiral's student won the Sacred Games fair and square! This toast is for my student! Jacob! Three cheers for my student! Woah!"
"Woah!"
"Woah!"
"Woah!"
Raja grinned at the cheers and shouted.
"Let's party!"
"Yeah!"
And the party started. All the drinks at the party are dried, and I need to take out all the alcohol I just bought this morning. Even then, these people manage to drink them all. With all the expensive alcohol gone, Raja orders three of the servants to take as much alcohol as possible from Raftfleet.
The alcohol I bought was so strong that one bottle of it already made me a little bit drunk, and I was much stronger than before.
I sigh a little and look at the only sober person at this party.
"Kisara, are they always like this?"
"Hmmm? Yes. The definition of the party between the people of Raftfleet and other nobles is like the moon and dirt. You cannot compare it. Other noble's parties involve a lot of talking and drinking a moderate amount of alcohol, Raftfleet on the other hand…. Well, you can see it yourself."
"Yeah. Wild is the appropriate word."
"Hah! I think this is more than wild at this point. This is the first time I see the Admiral this happy."
"Yeah."
I look at Raja, who is singing with a big grin on her face.
"She does look happy and free."
"You might not know this but she wants a student that takes her personality."
"Hmmm? What do you mean?"
"Admiral has other students, you know? However, each of them only takes her combat prowess. They never take what she wants them to learn, her personality and way of life. She wants them to be free, happy, and willing to protect people in need. Sadly, all of her students except you only take her teaching and use it to increase their personal power."
Kisara then looked at me with a smile before saying.
"And then she met you. You are the student she hoped for a long time. You are a free person who likes to travel, you are a happy person that does not think of self-gain or selfish things on your journey and you are willing to put yourself in danger if it was to protect someone. You decide to join the Sacred Games after you see and hear what happened to Lordlake. You are willing to help people you have never met. You are her ideal student."
"I see. Thank you for your compliment."
"It was the truth, Jacob. I must be the one who thanks you, Jacob. My daughter and husband avoid life sentences because of you, and you are also helping our ally. You are a hero."
"Hah. I'm not a hero, Kisara. I'm just someone who arrives at the right time and right place."
"If you say so."
~The Next Morning~
I shield my eyes when the light hits me. I groan a little and sit on the floor. I rub my eyes as I feel a severe headache attacking my head. I put my hand inside my inventory and take out a vial of potions. I quickly drink all the content and feel my headache start to disappear.
I'm glad for all the books about potions and the practice I do in the dungeon. Making the hangover potion is the right choice. Now, if only this world had the same ingredient for the potions, that would be great. I only have seven more of them.
I really should buy more potions from the Harry Potter world. That place has many kinds of potions that can cure a lot of ailments.
"Urgh. My head."
I can see Raja waking up from the pile of humans at the center of the room. I can see her looking around for a few seconds before her eyes land on me.
"And why are you not as miserable as us? Kisara forced you to drink a lot of alcohol last night."
Right. Kisara. I never thought that a woman would become violent when she is drunk. She forced me to drink three barrels of beer non-stop. After the third barrel, I did not know what had happened afterward.
"I have a way to cure the hangover."
"Hah?! You have that elixir and never told me?! What's wrong with you?! Ouch!"
Her shout stops as she holds her head in pain. She stayed there for a few seconds before she looked at me while still messaging her head.
"Give me."
"What?"
"The cure, gimme."
I sigh a little and give her the potion. She didn't hesitate and ripped open the cork before drinking all of the content. The potion takes effect a few seconds later when I see Raja blink for a few seconds before looking at me.
"Give all of the potions."
"Are you trying to rob me?"
"Yup! Now, give me all of them."
"I save them for myself, you know? I only have six of them left and I am planning on giving one of them to Kisara."
"Give me three of them and you can give one to Kisara. You will still have two more."
I look at her for a few seconds and sigh.
"Fine. Since when is a teacher robbing their student?"
"Since ancient times."
I sigh once again and take out four vials.
"Here. Please give one to Kisara. I don't think she can take care of this mess when she has a hangover."
"I know, brat. I'm not that suicidal not to give it to her. The last time she had that hangover, she destroyed the place instead of fixing it."
"Ah, speaking of fixing, there is a hole on the Dahak."
"What?"
Raja looks to her left, and true to my word, there is a massive hole in the wall of Dahak.
"How did that happen?"
"I don't know. My memory is blurry. The only thing I remember is something about Anchor competition?"
"Anchor competition?"
Raja looks around the room and notices Logg still sleeping on the ground before suddenly shouting.
"Logg!"
I decide it is time to retreat. I take out my wand and Apparate to Sol-Falena.
