Angel Slayer
In days long past, there were brave men and women who would take up arms and fight otherworldly creatures known as Demons. Through a specific test, Demon Slayer Candidates were chosen carefully before allowing the forging of the Candidate's Nichirin sword; a blade capable of killing a Demon.
However, these practices have dwindled along with the remaining Demons, forever lost to time. Never to be restored to its former glory. Few prominent families that had major history with the art of Demon Slaying still practiced it to this day, but those family were few in number.
Now, however, a new threat looms over the horizon. Humans had to face the Demons in the past, but in the present, they must face something much more dangerous.
Angels.
After the first contact with the Angels, the birth of 'Angel Slayers' had taken form, the roots of Demon Slaying formed its foundation.
After years of trial and error, Humans found a way to kill Angels, just like how they did with Demons. Well, you know the saying. 'Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.'
Perhaps 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend,' would be more...fitting, in this situation...
(Yes, this is a Demon Slayer FanFic. No, I will not be following canon concepts and such. I like doing things my own way instead of relying on everything that whatever I am borrowing has to offer. Of course, some things will be similar, if not identical, however. Enjoy!)
