Chapter-5: First day in Academy!

It's been around 5 years since I've been reincarnated into this world and possessed Naruto.

Today is the day, Naruto will start academy.

I've made significant progress in these years.

Naruto is still himself but he questions me about every major decision he makes.

He also trust me with almost everything.

In a few days, I will give him the spirit breaking blow.

"Voice-kun, Let's go to academy fast! Today is the day I will become the strongest ninja in the world!" he said while jumping in joy and rushing to academy.

His goal also shifted from Hokage to the strongest ninja as I told him that Hokage isn't going to help, in fact it will only burden him.

In my previous world, I was bored out of my mind....I tried everything but couldn't find satisfaction in anything.

Then I realized...I never faced any hardships and hence, I didn't possess any goal.

I wasn't alive....I was simply existing.

A being with no goal can only reach so far.

So...

I made my goal.

To be the strongest.

In this world? In the universe? In the multiverse?

I don't know.

But to be the strongest is my goal.

(A/N: Protagonist regrets living his previous life, in complete leisure and on a thin strand of luck.

Corruption-5.0% (Points are granted and can be spent now. There was no shop in the system as the corruption points could directly manipulate everything, so virtually anything is possible with enough points. Host just need to ask.)

'How much for a soul clone technique or something like that?'

-It starts from 100,000 Corruption points.-

'God damn it...the prices are too high!'

-It isn't host. The host didn't even start to accumulate points by himself. These points are generated from lingering hatred for Kyuubi, which is directed towards Naruto, Host's current Host.-

It seems I can only wait to use them huh?

(Naruto POV)

It was the first day of academy.

I am extremely excited for today as I will finally become a ninja!

That's right!

Uzumaki Naruto is going to become the strongest ninja in the world, ya know!

Everyone was seeing with 'that' look again as soon as I entered the academy grounds.

Some of them were whispering 'Why is here? Will our children be safe?' or something like that.

'Do not worry about these fools. I am always with you, Naruto.' Voice-kun said.

I quickly felt a lot better.

Ever since Voice-kun has been with me, I always feel safe and happy.

He is always with me and never leaves me, unlike others.

If it's him, I will always be happy.

I quickly put on a big smile as I didn't want him to be sad and ran into academy training grounds, where the teacher with a big scar on his nose directed me to.

After taking a seat, I waited for teacher to come and start teaching.

I was excited to be a ninja!

But suddenly Hokage jiji came to the academy grounds.

"Today we are at the academy, where the future generation of ninjas...." He immediately started saying something.

I wasn't really listening to him but suddenly voice-kun said something.

'Naruto...Listen to his words carefully. They are dripping with so much hypocrisy that you can literally swim in it. Hahahaha!'

Then I started listening to his speech carefully.

(One speech later)

'Speech was so amazing voice-kun why did you say it was dripping with hypo- something?' I asked.

I was genuinely curious why he said that.

I even want to Hokage now.

'You won't understand it this early Naruto. Just wait for the time to come. Time is the best teacher, after all.' Voice-kun said.

'Aww....Please tell me?' I said.

I want to know about it even more now.

'Just ignore it for now. By the way, the speech is over so head to your class now.' He said.

I quickly went inside the class and took a corner seat.

I didn't want to be miss being a ninja!

"Hello children! My name is Iruka Umino. I will you teacher for today's class. We will be learning about the Hokages today." The scar face sensei then started talking about Hokages.

It was amazing to know that there were so many strong ninjas who were leaders of the village!

I want to become a Hokage now!

"Okay, so the notebooks have been distributed so learn everything on page 1 to 10 at you home okay? It is mostly pictures so don't worry about reading to much for now. We will learn history for next month along with other subjects too. Keep training according to the manual and don't slack off. Class dismissed!" Scar face sensei said.

Heh?!

Where is fancy ninja training?!

'Nothing can be done in a day, Naruto...Let's go home now.' Voice-kun said.

'Aww....I was hoping I will become ninja just after the class. Learning about maths and stuff is sooo boooringggggggg.' I said.

I didn't want learn how to do math.

I wanna be a ninja!

'Let's go home. I won't repeat myself.' Voice-kun said.

I went to home now.

The first day at academy was so boring...

I hope this finishes up faster.

(Kazuya POV)

I didn't think they would teach him about Hokage's so early on.

They really don't want brainwashing to start fast, eh?

All I need to do now is wait.

As soon as he learns about Minato, I will start my wonderful plan.

I want him to dream about becoming a Hokage.

To be surrounded by people who love him instead of hating him, to have a wonderful life.

Crushing someone's dream is the most effective way to break the person's mind.

There are only two ways to go from that point on.

Knowing that you will never be enough, you will never succeed no matter what...

That hurts.

Extremely badly.

I assume it will lead me to what I want though.

From this point on, I need to be extremely careful.

I cannot allow even a moment of carelessness.
