LOG 36: Quest for the Meteonite!

Madame Boss's vacation here in the Unova Region has barely begun, and as long as the exams aren't finished, she plans to stay here. While preparation for the second task is being completed, we were called to the office room except for Oliver and Pierce who are currently having their own mission.

Today we were partnered up with the famous Xedric and Zola, one of the leading Master Agents of Team Rocket. Learning a few moves or tricks from them will surely up my game for the second task and maybe even for the third.

"Good day, Team Rocket agents. It seems to me all of you were able to pass the first task, and so you have my praise. Focusing on my dream for world conquest needs a success in this mission I am about to give you." said Madame Boss, spinning herself around while sitting on her black chair with wheels.

"The task is simple." said Professor Sophie, looking a bit grumpy than usual. I also noticed the absence of Alice which makes me think her leg is quite not okay.

"You will be heading to Nacrene City, there you will find a certain type of rock known as the Meteonite. We believe Munna's energy is related to the energy of this kind of rock, and so we ought to capture it if we dream to control the weather. All you have to do is to steal it and return safely." said Dr. Zager. A holographic picture of the rock appeared.

"And what exactly is this Meteonite?" queried Charlotte.

"The Meteonite is a large chunk of rocks that stuck together to form what we call an asteroid. Now that asteroid crashed landed to Earth years ago and most of its pieces can be found here in Unova." replied Matori.

"What you are about to obtain is only the fragment of the largest which can also be found in Unova. For us to find the largest part of the once terrorizing asteroid in which scientists believe is the cause of the dinosaur extinction, we must use the energy of the one from Nacrene City." Miyamoto clarified.

"Take nothing but the Meteonite, you might not know what other secrets such a museum may bear." added Madame Boss.

"Seems like a rather simple task if you were to ask me." said Virgo arrogantly.

"Oh it's quite hard actually. Everyone must have their role to play. What I have over here is a decoy or a copy of the Meteonite. All of you will strike during the night and these are our precise instructions:

1. Sneak into the vents--"

Zeal sighed after hearing it.

"1. Sneak into the vents to avoid yourself from being hit with the red laser lights. Once hit, it's game over.

2. One person will use a grappling gun to get the piece from the vents. Careful not to let the object hit the lights as well.

3. Lastly, replace the real one with the fake to hide our scheme." said Professor Olive.

"The decoy right here, my baby, is to delude our fellow officers from the Pokemon International Police. It has a small logo of the letter P so that they may think it is Team Plasma who is accountable for everything." said Madame Boss.

"Hmm, but wouldn't they see who did it?" I asked.

"You, you're the last one from yesterday. Tell me, what's your name again?"

I gulped saliva. "Luna Evergreen, Madame Boss."

"I see. Well, I've read your records before and it is at best to keep it a secret. Seems to me you've slaughtered most of your family. Anyway, a criminal's life is hard and one small clue, even absent to the eyes of the criminals, can open the psychology behind why it is done. No clue should be left, therefore my baby will do just that." answered Madame Boss.

"Alright Team Rocket! It seems you've heard the task loud and clear. Good luck to all of you." greeted Dr.Zagar.

"Do not fail me, I've got high hopes you can complete this mission of yours before the start of the second task. Team Rocket, BLAST OFF!" said Madame Boss, lifting all our determination.
