Chapter 084

"So you found another evolution for Eevee?" asked Professor Oak looking at Alex like he was a freak.

"Yes Professor. By complete accident" replied Alex.

"By accident huh?" muttered the Professor unconvinced.

"So. Tell me about this Eevee evolution" said teh Professor.

"Its called Sylveon. It evolved by the relaxation and comfort method I found out for Umbreon and Espeon. Any other prequisite conditions or if there are any requirements is unknown, as this Eevee evolved accidentally. I am going to need more research to find out" said Alex.

"I see. What type is it?" asked the Professor.

"I dont know Professor. It evolved recently, and I have not had time to experiment with these. All I know is that it does not have any weakness to Water and Electric type for now" said Akex.

"I see. Do you need more Eevee?" aske dtge Professor.

"I still have 5 left. I think I may need a few more. The other things I need now are access to Pokemon of all types in the ranch, some devices that can monitor energy collisions, and some time" said Alex.

"Time" muttered the Professor. "I was planning on having the information about the Eevee published soon, but with this new discovery I guess we can postpone that by 6 months or so, claiming we have ongoing research projects. But the King's Rock, Slowking and Politoed should be released now I think. Most of the market's supplies of King's Rock is in our hands now anyway" said Professor Oak.

Alex nodded. The Professor again told him he would have 6 months to find out about all the details and method of evolution of Slyveon. Alex agreeded, but he was secretly thinking how he could have the results out by today if he felt like, but he should wait a month just in case.

For now, he had to go and meet Charmander, who he hadn't seen in over 2 months, and Beldum he hadn't seen in 3.

Alex went into his house first, and sure enough, he saw Beldum still hanging in its usual place on the roof.

"Hey Beldum" said Alex, as it flew into his arms.

"Bell dummmm" it cried.

"I know, I know. I missed you too" said Alex.

He then put doen his things, washed up, and decided to go to the northerstern part of the ranch, where Fire type Pokemon would usually hang out. The Professor told him that that was where Charmander was when he wasn't around.

Alex walked towards that place. When he came nearby, he observed a commotion. It was cased by all the Pokemon surrounding a Charmeleon, and a golden coloured Charnander, who were facing off. The Charmader seemed to be at a distinct disadvantage though.

"Charmander!" yelled Alex, which prompted over a dozen faces turning over. All the others then turned away, but the little golden Charmander bounded over and threw itself against Alex.

"Chaar" it cried.

Alex stroked it for a bit, and then observed that Charmadwr was now at level 28, at 100℅ training. The Charmeleon it was challenging was at level 35.

"Charmander, do you want to battle and defeat Charmeleon?" asked Alex.

Charmander nodded.

"Them its time for you to evolve!" said Alex, as he pulled out some of the evolutionary fluid and energy rich treasure he had prepared for Charmander's evolution.

Ready Charmander, he asked, after feedsing it what materials needed to be ingested and setting up those materials that did not.

"Chaaar mander" cried Charmander firmly.

The other Pokemon now searched with interest, as Alex yanked off the Everstone around Charmader's neck, and retreated.

Charmader's body started glowing white with thr light of evolution. It started rapidly draining all the energy rich materials around it, and absorbing them into its body.

Charmader's frame elongated. It now appeared to have two longer arms and legs, its tail grew, and its face elongated, having what appeared dto be a single horn on top thorough the light of evolution.

"Chaar!" cried Charmeleon, appearing and sounding much more aggressive than before.

Alex checked its stats. It was back down to 0% in training, but its level shot up to 31, completely skipping the bottleneck to enter the Veteran stage. Its potential potential still indigo, but now appeared much darker. It still had golden colour, but looked much less cute them before.

"Excellent Charmeleon. Now lets go fight that opponet shall we?" said Alex happily.

Hearing his words, the golden Charmeleon turned and faced the group of Pokemon. They parted, revealing a single Pokemon, which walked forward aggressively, and stood in front of the golden Charmeleon.

"Chaar" they both cried looking at each other fiercely.

"Alright! Let's do our best to kick this Charmeleon's ass!" yelled Alex, promoting an exited reply from his Charmeleon.
