Chapter 76

As Carnage was about to be carried into Apokolips, he started getting doubts about what he is getting himself into. First of all, he is about to enter the realm of a God and who knows what will happen to him. Not to talk about Apokolips being a burning pit.

'Didn't Felicia mention about a guy that also went through the same procedure as her hold a Mother Box? Then why am I going into the realm of a God if I can just take it from that guy?' Carnage thought, phasing out of the Paradenon grip and falling to the ground.

Once his foot touched the ground, he zoomed forward in a red streak, heading toward Metropolis, New York. As he ran, he got rid of the fire suit he wore before and transformed into his original form. He then changed his skin to make it look like he was wearing a black combat pants, a gray polo shirt, and black combat boots. Reaching Metropolis soon after, he found it in more destruction than other cities, if you don't count those in Felicia blast radius.

Using his x-ray vision and telescopic vision, he could see five people fighting a tall titan. "Flash and Green Lantern, so the rest must be Wonder Woman, Shazam, and Cyborg." Carnage mumbled as he watched both of them fight the tall humanoid being. "I guess that is Darkseid, but... how are they able to injure a God!?"

Both of Darkseid's eyes were bleeding which came as a great surprise to Carnage. In his mind, he saw a God as a being that can't be hurt by mortals with Omni powers, like that guy.

"I guess in this world, anyone can be called a God as long as you are strong enough. Like me, I am a God to humans." Carnage said, watching them fight. "All I have seen him use are his super abilities. Why hasn't he used his magic or other things like that? Is that weakling ass God that conquered Worlds?"

Staying where he was, he watched as Superman appeared with Batman as Cyborg used the Mother Box to send Darkseid and his Parademons back to their realm.

"Guess is time to collect the Mother Box. Didn't expect a God to be defeated so easily." Carnage muttered, cracking his neck.

"Nice job kid." Green Lantern said, patting Cyborg, who just landed after using the Mother Box to send the invaders back, on the shoulder. "Where did Shazam go?"

"He said he had something to do so he took off." Cyborg said, looking at Green Lantern. "Said he had a... hot date."

"What about the human victims?" Batman asked, cutting into their conversation as he walked over to them, Flash, Superman, and Wonder Woman following.

As Cyborg was about to answer, a slow clap was heard. Turning over, they saw a huge man walking over them.

"Carnage. I see you are back for more beating." Superman said, smirking.

"Oh, Superman, I see you stopped wearing briefs above your costume. It didn't look good." Carnage said, looking over to Flash. "And flash, I heard you broke up with Iris. So sad." He finished it off with a sad tone.

"It is your fault." Flash said, lightning flashing within his eyes.

"Oh, Barry. I know you need elderly advice on what to do at every step of your life, so why didn't you talk to your parents..." Carnage suddenly stopped and held his mouth, like he said something wrong. "Oh, I am sorry. I forgot you have parental issues."

Flash was about to dash at Carnage but was stopped by Winder Woman's hand in his shoulder, "State your name warrior, and what is your purpose here?"

"Wonder Woman, I heard you were a demi-God Amazonian. Tell me, are all the other Amazonian demi-Gods?" Carnage said, looking at Wonder Woman but his attention on Cyborg, looking for where he hid the Mother Box after closing the Boom Tubes.

"No?" Wonder Woman responded, confused at why this human was asking that.

"Oh, I see... Too bad." Carnage mumbled.

"Get straight to it, Carnage or whatever your name is. Why did you come here?" Green Lantern asks, stepping forward like he was the leader.

"Nothing. I just came to say thanks to those who saved me and this world." Carnage said, smiling. "Also, I will be taking this with me." Raising his arm, everyone now noticed he was holding the right arm of Cyborg.

Looking over to Cyborg, they saw his arm missing, ripped from the shoulders, surprising all of them, especially Flash.

'I didn't even see a blur...' Flash thought in horror.

"My arm!!" Cyborg screamed, looking down at his missing arm.

During their distraction, Carnage used the chance to live, taking the arm with him. The reason he took the arm was that he remembered Cyborg once bringing out the cube from the arm so he assumed it will be inside it. If he is wrong, he will just go back and take the other arm Cyborg or even his entire body.

'After this, The Justice League will officials become the protecting group of the planet. Everyone will recognize them as their hero and the world will be 'safer.' Carnage thought as he ran. "Can't have that, can I? I should create my group. One that this planet will fear and will expand into the universe if I don't kill them myself that is. What should be the name?... How about, Injustice?"
