I'm finished

You know, when I wished for an exciting life, I didn't mean the One Piece world. Sure, you get to explore the vast sea like it was portrayed in the anime but the reality is completely different. Not every pirate is like the Straw Hats, most are disgusting criminals ranging from lowly thugs to individuals who have the power to straight up ignore the Law. 

Now, if you were to insert a normal man into this world without an absurd family background or plot armour like Luffy, then your chances of thriving was slim. Yep that was me, why the fuck did I wish for an exciting life? I'd rather be tucked away in my bed watching anime than being on this island by myself.

At least give me a head start, perhaps in a normal family while being younger, that way I can at least try training my body and possibly Observation Haki. You know grab a blindfold and let some little cunts throw rocks at my head, hmm maybe not? Regardless, this world simply raised human's physical limits to the point of being able to punch mountains like Garp.

Either way, I seemed to be trapped onto a island, no signs of humans near me, most likely animals though further central on the island. Don't really want to risk that yet, the first priority is food. I looked around attentively for any signs of food, and after a few minutes of wandering around, I realised my luck wasn't so bad. Whoever, put me into this world didn't give me powers but at least I got some fruits. 

A few days had passed as I built up the courage to explore the island further, you might call me a pussy but so what? I got plenty of fruits lying around and I've been training everyday. Now sure, the progress wasn't worth mentioning at the moment but Rome wasn't built in a day.

Also something I forgot to mention, my current body was oddly similar to mine on Earth, slim build, 5'8 slightly tanned skin and black hair. Nothing special but nothing that restricts me so I guess I shouldn't complain.

The One Piece world was truly fascinating, a monster like Kaidou who was 23 feet and had absurd physical strength was matched by Luffy using mostly Haki. Shanks was built like a regular chap drinking in a pub yet there were very few character's you would even bet on beating him.

Sure they were important characters in One Piece but it was clear that Haki ruled over all. Devil fruits were simply a shortcut to power, downside being the user can rely on them too much as well as being unable to swim. Now, I'm no Einstein but unless you somehow get the ability to fly, being not able to swim in a world full of water is a huge weakness. 

After I rambled on in my head, a few weeks passed of constant training. Wished for an exciting life but all I did was workout like a dog in prison. Sure enough, I saw some steady progress. Physically, I felt fitter than I ever was on Earth, not only were the physical limits in this worth higher but the progress was really fantasy like. Still, I'm not risking going further into the forest. What if a massive fucking tiger jumps me? 

2 months later...

Guess what I've been doing all this time? Yep, training like a bitch. Unfortunate news though, my progress was slowing down quite a bit, I've upped the intensity but I think I know the issue.

I've never exhausted my self both physically and mentally in a fight like characters would do so in One Piece. I'm eventually going to hit a wall, so I stopped being a pussy and decided to adventure a little deeper into the forest.

After an hour or so I didn't find anything but that didn't last long, I got jumped by two small monkeys. Now, they weren't overly powerful but damn did they hurt. They seemed to be taunting me, occasionally letting out little chuckles. As soon as I focused my attention on one, the other cunt would attack straight away. Like, the fuck did I do to them?

Eventually, I got annoyed so I started using my brain for once. I charged forward quickly at one monkey and attempted to grab him, as soon as I did so, the other monkey lunged at me from my right side. Little did that fucker know it was just a feint.

I quickly took a step backwards, got a hold of the cunt's tail as he was sailing past my vision. With a firm grip, I start slamming it viciously into the ground with all my strength, the little bastard was screaming in pain but I ignored it, eventually knocking it out. 'Have that you cunt' I thought. The other bastard however, quickly ran away, leaving his monkey bro behind...
