He held her hands softly taking her away from the room and out of the building. She was shocked and relief at the same time but didn't utter a single word. She was shocked because she didn't understand why they left the party early before it even ended, and relief because he didn't do all the things she thought stupidly in her head. 'Thank goodness. What was I thinking? Lisa was right after all.' She thought and smiled lightly at herself.

The driver, Kevin, came in with the car and got out of it, handing him the car keys. Francis and Jane got in. She was starting to panic again. Where were they heading to by leaving the party so early? The car remained silent as he drove speedily. He didn't glance at her once or even say a word.

"Where....where are we going?" She managed to ask as her tension began to reach its peak. He didn't say a word to her and just kept his eyes fixated on the road. 'A man of few words uhn?' She asked herself. "The....the party is not yet over, so....." When she realized by his look that he wasn't going to give her a reply sooner or later, she gave up asking him anymore questions.

About an hour of driving, the car stopped in front of a big expensive hotel. She clenched her fists tightly trying her best to remain calm. Without a word, he got down and Jane followed afterward. They didn't stop by the receptionist as they got in, and headed straight to the elevator. She was itchy to say something, to ask some questions, but still kept her mouth shut. The elevator door opened and he went out and Jane followed right behind him. He opened a room door as they got out from the elevator and she followed him inside. He gently closed the door and walked to the bed. The hotel room was big. Bigger than her room and that of Lisa's apartment. The bed was an alaskan king bed size. It wasn't bright inside, but the lamplight provided little light in the room.

Jane stood by the door side watching him remove his mask, and he slowly turned his gaze to her. Without a word, he poured champagne in a glass cup and sat on the fancy sofa with his legs crossed taking little sips from the champagne glass.

Still in the dark, his beauty overshone. His beauty was like light hiding away all the negativity in the dark.

"What..."

"Your test." He said calmly cutting her off. "You said you wanted to know what your test would be right?" He took a sip and stared at her sexily. His sexy gazes were the only thing that reflected in his eyes and nothing else.

"Yes, but..."

"Show me what you got." He cut her off still not tearing an eye away from her.

Jane raised a brow at him, trying to understand what he just said. She stared at him looking really confused. She was eager to ask what he meant and what he want her to show him but he looked like he wasn't going to repeat his words. She sighed and slowly walked away from the door to the bedside. She removed her mask and placed it on the bed. So many thoughts were running wild in her mind contemplating on what to do.

Francis just sat there sipping and twirling his champagne glass, and his sexy gaze not drawing away from her.

"Okay. Here it goes." She said as she figured out what to do. After a short while of silence, something left her mouth.

"Tale as old as times...

True as it can be..

Barely even friends..."

What she was doing made him stop sipping and twirling his glass and his sexy gaze on her quickly disappeared.

"What are you doing?" He asked sounding and looking angry.

What she heard made her pause. "Uhm. I'm singing."

He tilted his head and raised a brow at her.

"You....Uhm...You told me to show you what I got." She said innocently. "So I'm singing you a song from one of my favorite cartoons so far, 'Beauty and the beast."

Jane had been a big fan of cartoons especially beauty and the beast which was her all time favorite. She couldn't think of anything else at that moment as that was the only thing that popped in her head.

He looked at her in confusion. For the first time since he took his first breath on earth, he went utterly speechless.

"You don't like the song?" She asked innocently. "Beauty and the beast is a very popular cartoon, and I think you should watch it, if you haven't. It's so nice. You see, the humans who stayed in that castle were all cursed into tables, chairs, closet and even a candle. And yes, how she even kissed him when he was about dying. And I can't forget how they danced together to that beautiful romantic song when he finally turned into a handsome young man after she kissed him. And the song. The song is my all time..."

"Shut up." He said coldly as he approached her while she was trying to explain the movie to him with a big smile on her face which quickly disappeared when he spoke.
