Confession
Steph was stunned. As soon as class ended, Hong Gi bolted and left Luke to deal with the onslaught of classmates looking for autographs and pictures. Amy took charge of Steph's egress. Amy took her cap and jacket off and helped Steph into them, ensuring Steph pulled the cap low over her forehead. Anything to give her some anonymity.
Amy herded her around the crowd and to the back of the classroom, where they watched Luke charm the students, his face bright and open. He appeared younger than his usual scowling self.
Steph tilted her head to one side. The bubble-gum pink hair suited Luke. She wondered if Hong Gi would look as good, then guffawed at her foolishness. What part of identical twins had she forgotten? Of course, he would look good.
Oddly, Steph never thought of them as identical, even when looking at them side by side. Their personalities were so unique, as were their facial expression, that she saw individuals, not clones.
