Prologue

( Flash back )

Lexi POV

My life began so disjointed and shattered like a glass thrown to the bare floor; it began with one horrible story that led to another and nothing truly good about me. My heart broke like a marble glass that was dropped to the ground, shattered, and impossible to pick back up.

"After taking me and giving me promises after promises," I uttered, crying as I gazed at Axel, feeling both inner and outer sadness and pain.After years of loving and caring for Axel, it was rejection, but I think I still have to go without him.

The more he said to me, "I, Alpha Axel, reject you Omega Lexi Thompson," the more tears welled up in my eyes.

I'm Omega Lexi Thompson, believed to be one of the weak Omega in the pack who i loved my boyfriend with everything within me plus I also cared for him with everything but the main day of the mating ceremony he Rejected me to the crowd making me to think my life was something that couldn't be amended ever again due to the love I had for him but he just used me and dumped me instead of loving me back.

" Why,have you been doing such a thing to yourself?" Lyra gave more concern to me as I just kept on sobbing with pain within me and my heart was already pained deep down.

" It nothing," I just used my hand to clear the tears that rolled down.

Since she was not a werewolf like me and would not comprehend everything about wolves, I simply made the decision to tell her a lie.

I considered Lyra to be my sister more than I did anyone else. I was in a relationship with an Alpha who ended up rejecting me as his mate and picking up someone else, so I had to take my cool friend as a sister because I am an orphan with no family. However, in the case of my rejection, I could not just walk up to her and talk to her.

"How about Axel?" Lyra asked me this question as I turned to face her and I sniffed.

Why are you asking? I responded by recalling the things that had happened to me in the past.

"Simply nothing," she uttered, removing her eye from me and turning her to face up, her nails digging into her mouth right away.

Without delay, I got up from the spot where Lyra and I had been sitting and entered a different room.

" why is my life like this ?" In pain, I questioned myself. I was crying myself to the walls and had no one to console me, so my voice was overcome with tears.

I lay flat on the bed, staring up at the ceiling with tears slowly trickling down, and I said to myself, "I have to make up something with my life and not to leave like this all cause of an ordinary rejection."
