OBLIVION I

Zoar Malite is 22 years old. He has dirty blonde hair. He wears a black tank top with iron shoulder pads. He also wears charcoal gray bag pants. Zoar has experienced a most definitely hard life since the age of 12. At that time he was living happily with his mother and father. He remembers that one night, he was suddenly kidnapped. Panicked and scared he was, but there was nothing he could do.

He remembers being knocked out then awakening on a long and abandoned road. The paint on that road had began to fade and had many cracks in it. This road was surrounded by a small man-made forest. 

For years, Zoar lived in the forest. Not alone. He had animals with him at least. Having to survive off of them. There was a small river inside that forest that he got his water from. He stayed in shape by constantly exploring the forest he called home. One day he found an old sword in the ground. It was black and seemed to have been used quite frequently. He picked up the sword and began training himself that day.

After 4 years of the road being empty, it suddenly became very busy one day. Zoar was then 16 and he had no clue what was happening. He ignored it for only three days and something strange happened. One day, three very big and industrial looking trucks drove into the forest. Zoar was very confused by this strange occurrence. 

The trucks stayed still for about five minutes without anyone getting out. There was a logo on each truck's doors and hood. It contained a picture of earth but the oceans were green and the land was black. The image was surrounded by a circular shape that appeared to be green wires. The trucks were white everywhere else.

Zoar didn't know what to think so he just hid in a tree. Zoar carefully watched as the trucks just sat there. He counted out 5 of them, all of them where exactly the same.

Suddenly a door opened.

Zoar jumped a little at the sudden movement but kept his cool.

This was the first human Zoar had seen in a long time. The man who got out was then followed by all the other men getting out of their trucks. They all looked kind of dirty. All wore white shirts, stained to Hell and jeans that were also very grimey. They also all carried black boxes that were beaten up and had a red strap on them that they carried.

Zoar continued to watch them. He tried to keep up with each of them but they spralled out across the forest. He saw one stop beside the tree he was in. His heartbeat began to increase. The man below him had a head shinier than a diamond. It was also covered in sweat. The man then set his box down and opened it. The man then pulled out a razor-line saw. These kinds of saws were made just 50 years ago. They have proven to be more efficient than manual saws and chainsaws.

This suddenly reminded Zoar of a time when he was in school. He remembers learning about something called "The Second Industrial Revolution". He remembers the teacher telling the class that it started a little bit after civilization came back from Project-CYRO.

Project-CYRO was the only way humans escaped extinction after Big-Bang II. 

Big-Bang II was a terrible event from the Modern Era of Earth. Big-Bang II was a man-made disaster created by an unknown person. Big-Bang II went off on January 1st, 2090. The threat was discovered that previous year in March. The world's governments quickly worked together and planned out their escape. Over the course of a month, blueprints of five ships were made. The ships held cryo sleeping containers for almost everyone. Unfortunately the world was asked to select 10,000 volunteers to help work on the ship. The volunteers came up quicker than expected. Later, a 6th ship was made for animals. There would be 1,000 volunteers and 500,000 animals on the 6th ship.

A select few of scientists also planned on examining the damage on Earth to calculate how long the people should be asleep for Earth to become habitable again. The explosion of BBII was disastrous. The continents collided and became one. The radiation emitted from Big Bang II was dangerous . The calculated time  for Earth to recover was 3,500 years. After that a 500 year trip back to Earth. When arriving, it was discovered that most of the sealife survived and had adapted and evolved. Many evolved into land animals. Over time society was rebuilt and English became the world wide language. The government however was weak and still is. Leading to lots of crime.

Zoar quickly realizes how long he was daydreaming. The man was half way through the tree and it started falling. Zoar quickly tried to jump over to the next tree over to his left.

"HEY!" One of the men saw him from the tree he was cutting. He pulled out a gun and aimed at Zoar.

Zoar grunted as a bullet whipped past him. He missed the tree and landed on the ground.

Zoar looked up and saw that he was surrounded by five of the men and they all had guns. He stood up and slowly put his hands in the air.

Two men separated as a man that was slightly taller and bigger than the rest came through.

"For the love of Cyrus… Guys, he's just a Goddamn kid!" The man said angrily. He was already having a bad day. He then looked at all the guys.

"Well, which one of ya shot 'em? Huh?" he said, crushing a cigar in his mouth. The man was bald and looked to be about 15 years older than the other guys. One man came  forward.

"I-I shot him Mr. Eio…" he said, shaking.

"You wasted company property, now expect consequences when we get back! Is that understood, Remaugh?!" Eio spit every word as he yelled.

"Y-Yessir!" Ramugh stood up straight.

Eio turned to Zoar.

"Now then. Boy, how old are you?" Eio asked.

Zoar only had a few other memories after that moment. He was offered a job as a lumberer, after Eio learned a little more about him. Zoar worked as a lumberer for Lirethberg Industries until a week ago. He wanted to pursue something he had been thinking about for weeks. He wanted to find his parents.

His first plan of action was to learn their names. Although they were his parents, he never knew their names. He barely remembers their faces. Or their voices.

Zoar had an idea where he could find a hacker to hack into the world wide citizen files. There he could simply enter his own name and look at his birth certificate. He could just go to a Health Department and get it there but the government had recently shut them down due to the sudden ease of identity theft.

Zoar got word on a hacker that lives in Ameur. A small city that wasn't very far from where he was. Zoar set out to Ameur on April 8th.
