The warm glow of the flame glinted off the pool as everyone in the room fell to their knees and bowed before it. The glow was heavenly and commanded submission from everyone including goddess Rezelna.
We waited for the rise of the true deity from the pool. The span passed and nothing happened. The glow radiated brightly, shimmering with a godly spark. It was a sight to behold.
The glow dimmed out and we were released from the compulsion of total submission. "Why isn't he coming out?" Prince Zephirin ran his hand through the pool in search of Xerek. His hands moved through the spelled water and came out empty-handed. "Wh... What is going on?"
Rezelna brought out the crystal of life. The light in the crystal was reignited, it was burning brighter than ever.
"Ruvelna isn't here. I just heard the last lightning strike the sky and yet you don't have the urge to kill Serayah. What did you do?" Aarox raised a question to Rezelna.
